Detailed Reviews
The ACCOR Ibis hotel in Fes is good one and well located but when it comes to the staff there is a problem.
I asked for the invoice, I could not get the right one because the person at 7 morning did not have the form. It was printed on a simple paper sheet with no references. I sent an email asking them to send it to me, they have not replied.
I Will not come back to this hotel, I prefer to go to IBIS BUDGET Fes where staff is very nice, helpful and polite.

+1
Ibis is located right on the station square.
The furniture is standard for the ibis chain, but there is no safe, no kettles.
There is no dispenser in the bathroom, only a bar of soap and two sachets of shampoo.
A modest breakfast - egg porridge, yogurt, juice.
The best thing about the hotel is the small indoor garden and swimming pool.

This Ibis is right next to the train station at Fes, but unfortunately this means you are a couple of miles from the old medina and it is therefore either a long walk or cheap taxi ride. A taxi ride one way should cost about 10 Dh if the taxi has a meter. There isn't much in the vicinity apart from a few local shops and basic cafes, (although there was a good cafe actually in the train station which gave you a good view of Fes from its terrace). The rooms do need updating but are not too bad. The staff were quite pleasant and breakfast was fine.

I spent a very comfortable night at ibis hotel. The receptionist gave me a very nice room on the swimming pool, so the view was nice and there was no noise. Moreover, i had a drink in the bar. It was so nice and the waiter was so friendly

The only positive note that I can make about this hotel is the location. If you arrive/depart by a train, then it is quite convenient. Other than that, I can’t recommend this hotel. It looked and felt very run down, without a proper maintenance.
My room (the standard room) only had 3 wire hangers, the bathroom had broken hooks, reminders of the cheapest repairs everywhere, and the water drain in the shower was clogged, TV channels quality reception looked like in 1970s, there was no hot water one morning. Walls are thin, noise travels quite a lot. My room faced the common area next to the pool with tables and chairs. Some guests strangely decided to sit there and socialize at 2 am at night, and of course I could hear everything.
Breakfast was more or less average, but many dishes were cold.
It was not my first stay at Ibis property. But it was the worst. Stay away.

There were works in the corridors wich made it quite dusty and messy outside the rooms. Room needs refresment as well. No towels even after requesting them. Had to go back to reception twice to get the towels.Breakfast was ok but very basic. Lovely garden and pool area.

We booked 3 rooms. This is the worst Ibis of all. Very dirty rooms, filthy towels and no bathroom products. Very rude staff at the front desk. Manager is absent and when present, is defensive has no customer service skills. The front desk forces clients to pay cash, claiming that the card machine doesn’t work or because there is no internet. This is a common way to avoid taxes and being non-transparent in finances. Absolutely a place to avoid. There are many other good hotels in the city of Fez, but absolutely NOT IBIS-Fez.

There is no rules for that. For the night, you can give them 10 dhs wich is the equivalent of 1 USD
I don' know. You could phone them. Many hotels in Morocco provide this service using local contractors.
