The absolute highlight of my trip to Fes with this Riad and my hostess/proprietor Miriam. I was greeted by a driver at the train station. From the moment I arrived at the Riad I felt like royalty. Gorgeous, serene, authentic are just a few words to describe the physical structure. Kind, attentive, warm, funny, darling are my words to describe... More

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Miriam and the staff with mint tea and cookies in a charming, candlelit atmosphere... The ryad is like a scene from 1001 nights - beautiful decoration, pillows everywhere and a small fontain in the middle. Our room (sophia) was not very large, but also nicely decorated, cosy and equipped with airco and tv. Cleanliness was... More

My husband and I stayed here at the begining of Jan 2012 for 3 nights. The riad is close to the Bab Rcif gate of the old medina - walking distance about 5 minutes. When we first entered the riad we honestly thought that we came to the wrong riad - it was too good to be true for the... More

We stayed here over the new year & were really impressed from the welcome miriam & her staff . The riad is small & intimate and well decorated . The food coming out of the kitchen was delicious the best we had in morroco . There's a lovey terrace with views over the medina . If going for a day... More

Made this Riad and Fez my last stop in morocco during a short multi-city trip around spain and morocco. We were a curious group of three who would not hesitate to wonder and get lost in the medina given the chance and we chose this Riad based on the excellent reviews on trip advisor and on the close proximity to... In the last few months after my Moroccan vacation, I have tried to make a good tajine at home but failed. I decided to contact Miriam from the Riad Dar Guennoun and see if she could help. It was a shot in the dark and most places would have simply ignored my request since I was no longer a (prospective)... More

First stop in Morocco after a 20 hour trip from Toronto - Paris - Casablanca with a final train to Fes. Miriam had a driver at the train station in Fes to bring me to the riad. It was great to arrive Miriam had set me up in the Omar Suite and a tasty tagine awaited me. Great size, clean... More

Don't look further... Riad Dar Guennoun is the place to stay when in Fes. We were welcomed by Miriam, the lady of the house that speaks very good English, which is good since we don't know a word in French! She always made sure if we were comfortable in our room. Breakfast is very good, with the freshest products available.... More

We stayed at Riad Dar Guennoun for 2 nights back in October. The hall and dining room are splendid and the staff is friendly. However, we were quite disappointed by the room. It was quite noisy and cold and the bathroom was tiny. We paid about 55 Euros per night and we were expecting a much nicer room. Overall, it... More

I stayed twice, the first time with my business colleague for a weekend and the second time with my husband and daughter for a night. The riad is absolutely stunning and beautiful and the rooms are well-decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and the service was wonderful. But what really made this place was Miriam and her father... More
