This is a beautiful Riad in Fez with history leaping out of every room. The room we had was absolutely beautiful with air conditioning as it was cool at night. The furniture is as old as the building and quickly takes you into the past with huge comfortable bed, to a luxurious dining room with cushions everywhere to roof top...

We do have a suite on the ground floor opposite the dining room.You will have to stay in that one next time and you will be able to bring all your luggage.There are no stairs. . . . . .but once you dig in you discover it's all about the money. Very very noisy which I appreciate one must expect in the Medina but not to the extent we suffered. The owner tried to sell us tours and trips, she also said that the trains were too dangerous for Europeans alone on her own so...

Iv visited Morocco over 15 times and can safely say this is one of the best hotels Iv stayed at. Juliet the owner could not have been more accommodating and helpful not to mention the beautiful staff. Riad Dar Guennoun is the place to go!! A family business that has put in the work and detail to meeting your needs. Great cooks! Historical! Close to everything you need. They will refer you to guides and pick at airport or train. A home away from home!

not a single bad word to be uttered about this place. the location is perfect, in the heart of the old town and a quick 2 minute walk to the Medina as well as restaurants, pharmacies, cafes, taxis.etc the building itself is an original 17th century Moroccan riad with beautiful tile work and windows throughout (it does mean some steep...

Excellent! Best riad in town! Phenomenal service, decor, and location. Juliet and Abdul are incredibly genuine and hospitable. Their family emphasis is the best part of staying. No complaints whatsoever!

A special time spent at Riad dar Guennoun. The location in the old town was the perfect place to explore Fes. The room we had was beautifully kept and we felt there had been so much attention to detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Incredibly beautiful building which has been lovingly restored; the rooms we had were excellent, really comfortable. On top of all that, the staff at Riad Dar Guennoun made us feel very welcome, helping with arrangements - they made our stay in this wonderful city so easy... Highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Morocco.

I have never had such a nice stay in Morocco (considering I go almost every year). The Riad is a beautiful hidden treasure in the medina of Fes, it is hard to imagine this considering the outside of the house. Dar Guennoun is located near one of the main access points to the Medina and is just five minutes from the famous Kairouyine University and the souks.
