I stayed four days at Dar Melody and enjoyed all of them. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated. But the biggest treat is the superb breakfast prepared every morning by Laurence and Bernard! The house is located in a residential area but on walking distance from Seffarine square. The next time I come to Fes I have a home... More

Bernard and Laurence are an incredibly fun couple and it rubs off onto their guests. They bought this house and then spent one and half years renovating and then another 6 months decorating into one of the best riads we stayed at on our 4 week Morocco holiday. The four post bed in the very spacious and beautiful bedroom (with... More

This was our second stay at Dar Melody in a year. We returned because Bernard and Laurence were so welcoming the last time we visited. They did not let us down this time either. The Riad is situated in the heart of the medina down a little back street, so it is quiet but easy to access the tanneries. The... More

Beautifully renovated, centuries-old home in a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the medina. Our room had a huge private terrace and all the amenities one could expect in such a place. The best breakfasts of the trip. Our hosts were gracious, friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. They speak French and good English. We arrived late in the... More

The moment we arrived we made feel very welcomed. We had the terrace room, which is beautiful decorated and there were even some sweets waiting for us. The terrace itself is open for everybody and is really welcoming and comfy. We booked a guide for a half day tour with them and the guide turned out great. Last but not... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying with Laurence and Bernard for 3 nights last week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. You wouldn't guess that through that old wooden door, inside lays a beautiful living space. Laurence was especially hospitable and arranged a guided walking tour and transportation to other nearby areas, so that we can... More

We booked Dar Melody after reading reviews on TA. We were very impressed. Laurans and Bernard are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts. The riad is a beautiful house with a nice roof terrace with an excellent view. Our room was large and had plenty of room to relax. Breakfast is a very special occasion.
