Flying into Casablanca late, the plan was to rent a car and head south early the next day. The owner of Hotel Guynemer, named Mustapha, offered to help us figure out the rental situation that next morning -- as our first two options had proven to be complete failures. We spent the night in a comfortable little room on the...

When I first got to Casablanca, I only spent a night before going to see the rest of Morocco, so I just wanted a place to unwind before my journey. I chose Guynemer mostly for the airport pickup, which arrived promptly, and the location, which was central enough for me to walk around and see the area (which had nice...

I went to Hotel Guynemer a while back and I enjoyed my stay very much. My pickup service from the airport was there by the time I arrived, and the driver, who gave me an amazing city tour later on, was kind and willing to help whenever I needed it. The location was such that I could walk around and...

I visited Morocco recently, and I had stayed at Hotel Guynemer during my time in Casablanca. I was extremely impressed. The room I had felt new and clean, and the friendliness and support of the staff was incredible; I felt like I was among family. On top of that, I had taken a 10 day tour of Morocco with them,...

First upon my arrival, they sold me an entrance ticket for the mosque for 100 dirham, which was not valid, as I found out the next day. when I entered the room, it smelled old and dirty. the cubucle in which I could hardly turn, and i am very thin, contained a shower, that flooded the whole floor and the...

Although there was a miscommunication about the airport pick-up (300 Dirham) this was a great place to stay: very friendly service, good room and breakfast. I took a three-hour tour of Casablanca with a chauffeur via the hotel which was perfect (450 Dirham). Apart from the mosque Hassan II (120 dirham tour) and a short walk through the medina there...

We read about this hotel in the Morocco lonely planet guide, which was picked by the authors under the budget category... And it really is budget, don't expect anything fancy. We were meet by friendly reception staff who offered us a special price (480Dh incl. breakfast instead of 538Dh). We got keys for a room on the first (left) room,...

I stayed at the Hotel Guynemer with a group October 2014.I think during the French occupation this hotel would have been rather grand, it is now in its twilight years! Good location easy to walk everywhere, breakfast included, bread rolls, jam coffee, orange juice which tasted like cordial. My room on the 2nd floor was at the front of the...

Its an OK hotel... Its very much a ''budget'' hotel. The bathroom is ridiculously small and the shower is just impossible to use. The bed is clean and they have air conditioning which is a bonus. But I would have rather stayed somewhere else. Even on my small budget.

We booked this based on the rating in the rough guide as we needed a place to stay for one night in Casablanca. firstly, the good things - pretty central and easy to get to from the train station and the staff were helpful and spoke decent English, and the wifi was free and worked, though a tad slow. However...
