It is the most central, safe, clean and comfortable hotel in central Algiers, alongside the police station between two of the main shopping streets, a lift to all floors, A/C , nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, clean sheets & towels, comfortable well furnished rooms, quiet and affordable, never go anywhere else, no point this place is ideal!

Gave myself a trip to Algeria for my birthday this year. I had reserved one of their grandstanding rooms, but was disappointed to find no a/c and no room safe, so switched to a smaller room that did have a/c. Only safe is at reception. An old cage elevator, with encircling staircase. The restaurant is excellent under the capable hand...

First of all I would like to praise all the employees we had to deal with. Very warm welcomed, and always here for us. We felt like on an Airbnb as, already after a few hours, they knew us, our rooms and habits, and were really nice and friendly. Thank you very much to all of you if you read...

I've stayed in plenty of worse hotels in various parts of Africa, but not with the expectation of "Swiss" standards. I am currently in the hotel getting ready to check out. My room has a sulfur smell that hits me every time I enter. The wi-fi has been a disaster - I was able to use it when I arrived...

The reception was okay . Language is usually a problem in Algeria . English speaking crowd is negligible even in hotels . Lift was very small & can accommodate only two people without luggage . The room was on 4th Floor but lift doesn't stop on 4th floor. The room was not clean without fresh bed sheets. The restaurant was...

What a nice little old world gem this hotel is. Located right in the centre of Algiers and few minutes away from the Promenade, Grande Poste, Agha train station etc. Yes, the price of 6000 dinars for a single room might sound as a bit high for this level of hotel but this is Algeria and accommodation tends to be...

We planned to stay at this hotel four nights. We left after the first one. This hotel is in terrible shape. All the commodities are either dirty, broken or both. They charge my credit card for the night and after told me that I need to pay cash as payment did not go throught. I end up paying twice. To...

Is normal hotel, clean, but above all there is an excellent reception desk. Also it is situated in central located downtown. Is very safe is next to the police station. It is situated in a off street from the main road. The main road is full of shops and restaurants . I was marvel by the number of shops and...

Algiers can be a tricky place to find a drink on a Friday night. Hotel Suisse, however, has a bar on the lobby level which technically is only available to in house guests. But if you smile and ask nicely they may just let you in. Selection of alcohol is fairly limited and seems to be confined to spirits, but...

The best thing I can say about this hotel was its location. Centrally located downtown, you were able to catch the subway, walk or find a taxi without any difficulty to get to the various parts of Algiers. The hotel itself certainly is old, smoky, and in great need for a facelift. The staff is wonderful and the morning breakfast...
