Prefect for a parent or family visit to Iowa State for a campus visit or orientation. It is close to Campustown and Campus. If you have children at the Iowa state or are planning to attend this is a great place to get an overall feel for the college and the surrounding town.

Thanks to the staff at Iowa House for a great stay - all were so welcoming and accommodating. I had time-sensitive work to get done and my room was perfect for the task: spacious, quiet, and welcoming. The staff were delightful and the breakfast scrumptious. The common spaces - and the rooms - were gorgeously appointed...I would come back in...

Fabulous hospitality, we felt very very welcome. Rooms, including the public spaces, were very comfortable, wonderfully decorated and well appointed. Bed was very nice. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. Location (for Iowa State visit) could not be more ideal. We will stay again if we end up with an ISU student or find ourselves visiting Ames. Thank you!

Best place to stay if you're visiting your child at Iowa State. Comfortable living room in the refurbished historic frat house where people hung out all evening chatting and BYOB. Snacks provided. Nice Room to stay in.. Great breakfast where you can chat with fellow guests. It's within walking distance to campus and Campus town. We've been here before and...

We were so pleased when we arrived with the facility. It was very clean, our room was in great shape...

Stayed here for a concert 1 mile away at CY Stephens on 8/31. Room 303 was awesome - stairs up to a loft with a futon, king bed downstairs, large bathroom with tub. Sink and mirror are in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. All main hotels were sold out the night we booked, but in retrospect, glad we...

Initial room, well appointed, drip in bathtub and whirlpool did not work. Switched to a different room, sink dripped. Both rooms could use a good dusting, especially the blinds where the slats have a layer off thick dust on them. Breakfast was great! Difficult to get a hold of the management, multiple emails and phone calls without a response.

Great location - right next to campus. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. It was a pleasure meeting the other guests at breakfast, which is lovely. All day snacks are great. The rooms are cute and comfortable. Will be back.

A short but wonderful stay at Iowa House. I wish I could have stayed longer but this was a quick trip to visit relatives in Ames. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all,the amenities I could ask for. Breakfasts were scrumptious and timely.

Our recent Friday Saturday stay was our third staying at this great B and B. We have stayed in different rooms each time. All rooms are nicely done. The beds are very comfortable. Each room has a great shower and jetted tub arrangement. My wife and I enjoy the tasty breakfast served fresh when you are seated. The breakfast room...
