With the recent updates to the property, this is one of the neatest places to stay and hold an event in Athens. The staff was very accommodating and professional and helped us have the most wonderful wedding weekend! Thank you!

The room was great. Decorated in a fun retro style. Very comfortable mattress. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast options are very limited in the cafe, would be nice if they served a complementary breakfast like many similar hotel. The location is great. Walking distance to downtown and campus

Hotel was great and the staff within the hotel and the restaurant were amazing. Great people. The staff at the Foundry were great in recommending things to do around the city. The bartenders Pat and Deb were awesome with ideas and things to do or to make sure to see while staying in Athens.

I happened upon this lodging option one dark and stormy night, and I have never missed an opportunity to stay there again. I was travelling to GA frequently to help care for a brother with medical problems. It has been a haven of rest, respite, and renewal. The bar and grill is fantastic. There is often entertainment in the adjoining...

My husband and I spent one night here to go to a concert at the Georgia Theatre. The location was right in the middle of downtown Athens, and all the staff we encountered were awesome! However, there were a few things that I had issues with. The room itself was starting to show a little wear. As we got into...

The hotel is on the edge (corner) of downtown Athens - excellent location within easy walking distance to most downtown locations (they have a shuttle if you don't want to walk). My room had a retro feel with 1950s inspired furnishing, headboard, wall art, and overall theme - even my room card was designed to look like an old college...

The only room we could find in Athens in order to stay after the GA/GA Tech game. It's definitely convenient to campus and downtown but you can tell it was an old apartment building! Still could use some sprucing up! Love the themes throughout the hotel!

Stayed one night for UGA game. Quaint 2-story hotel recently renovated with retro decor and an 'old school' theme. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Park directly in front of your room. Great downtown location. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stay here every Thanksgiving to meet up with family in Bogart. Graduate Athens is pet friendly which is a huge plus for us as we always travel with our Dooley! We enjoy the Normaltown Flyers on Thanksgiving Eve and that has become an annual tradition! Thanks again!

Whether you're dropping in for a show at the Foundry, our multi-tiered music venue, or in town showing off the Alma Mater, our warm, friendly whip smart staff will be your compass guide - so you can feel like a local, even if it's your first time in town. Get ready for a night like you've never had before. Get ready to be inspired. Here at Graduate Athens, we believe life is a timeless journey filled with memory making stops, extraordinary rites of passage and all of the courageous leaps of faith that get us where we're going. Just beyond the historic brick facade lies our very own Southern village. While Graduate tips a hand to its historic roots, it has fully embraced the southern Renaissance in all of its artistic edge and glory. Everything you need is right here-whether you're in town to wind up or unwind. Our rooms are ready for a night like you've never had before, where little moments of surprise and discovery will meet you down every corridor and around each corner including Malin & Goetz amenities and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel lobby is caffeinated with just the right blend of grab and go goodness. Think home baked eats and a selection of the best brews. We've got just the right shot of espresso to pair with your morning news at Iron Works Coffee. The Foundry, our historic music venue served as the original iron foundry, and was reimagined to honor the site's roots and preserve this piece of Athens' fine past. The multi-tiered structure and soaring beams welcome crystal clear views, stellar acoustics and a place to celebrate the detail and dedication to craft. The Foundry Bar & Grill stocks every local beer imaginable and offers fun fresh fare whether you are catching a new artist or you're just looking for a place in town to hang out and make some history of your own. At Graduate we are all about the R&R and making your acquaintance. Melt away your stress, unplug from the world and indulge in a few hours of off the grid me time. Let us know which spa service serves you best, and we can make it happen. ... more   less
