We stayed at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel while in town for a concert. The students working at the front desk and bell stand were very helpful and accommodating. The room is very small, but it was clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Location is decent - we walked downtown, about a mile away....

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. The bed was amazing, but the bathroom was to small for one person and there was little to no water pressure in the sink. There were problems flushing the toilet through out the hotel and the room needed serious upgrades. The shower water pressure was nice, but the...

The staff is excellent, but the hotel needs strong renovations. The walls are extremely thin and we were up most of the night listening to the "roomies" next door. The water in the bathroom is extremely hard to control and the halls did have a musty old smelling odor. Awesome location though and would stay here for a decent rate,...

This was our first visit and it didn't disappoint. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The staff was extremely helpful as well. We were in Athens for an event at UGA and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

I visited Athens this past weekend for a gymnastics meet on UGA's campus. I chose this hotel for a two-night stay based on proximity to the meet and the reviews I read online. The Good: My mom, daughter and I arrived late in the evening. The lobby area is large, clean, well furnished and welcoming. We were greeted by the...

We took a family trip to Athens to watch some SEC softball and stayed at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center. Super friendly staff, many of whom were college kids. The hotel is right in the middle of campus, which made for great walks through the beautiful campus. This is not at all luxury and they could stand to get...

Highlights of my stay: - requested wake-up call and did not get one - had to pay for a plastic cup to have water out of The place has no character. The amenities are minimal. Room was not as clean as I would've liked (e.g. bathroom knobs). Virtually no quiet working area with comfortable seating. You have to pay to...

I stayed at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center recently for a conference. Here are my thoughts: Room: The room was small. You could tell this was an old hotel that has been renovated. There was very little floor space, but they did offer a fridge and microwave in the room. The bathroom was TINY. I almost hit my head...

Attended a three-day conference here recently. I really liked the hotel. The staff are friendly and competent, the rooms are smallish, but clean and well-furnished (microwave, frig, really comfortable bed, desk and chair, TV). The common areas are nice, with a courtyard that has natural gas fireplaces at night. They also provide a shuttle that will take you anywhere within...

This hotel is located amid campus buildings, making it easy access for walking to on-campus events and meetings. The lobby has a small beverage & food spot for quick eating as well as a full restaurant. The room I had was on the small side, and seemed somewhat retro with some attempts to modernize. The front desk staff was helpful....
