The Hyatt Place is a modern hotel, elegantly designed with all the features that contribute to an excellent guest experience. The rooms are large and well equipped, the food and drink are excellent, and the service is pleasant and efficient. The General Manager, Luis Garner, is on hand to add his personal attention, and the overall guest experience is top class. Great value!

Nope! Just nope. I'll say it for you in spanish, no. No porfavor. You ever pass by this place and say "..hey let's stay here, just dont". At first you like wait I have to take an elevator down to some shady basement? Well yes, that why you say nope!

We were able to arrange a shuttle bus for pick up and drop off at the airport for our arrival and departure, respectively. The hotel also offers to call taxis for local trips. The rides do cost extra, but I felt the prices were fair. Security was a high priority to me. At the Hyatt I always felt safe. The hotel itself is so beautiful, clean, and modern. Our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains and the pool. The pool was well-maintained (also has a great view of some mountains). The gym was also clean and let me get some cardio in while away from home. My absolute favorite part of my stay had to be the breakfasts every morning. The buffet style food is complimentary, but it is not the usual stale bagels, dry oatmeal, and runny eggs offered at most hotels. Typical Honduran dishes are available - even a baleada station! But there are some more familiar dishes available to travelers, such as cereal, scrambled/hard boiled eggs, toast, fruits, etc. There are also some local baked goods available, such as semitas. Several local juice flavors were available, and the coffee always tasted so fresh and delicious. I loved starting my days off with a wonderful breakfast. You can also order lunch/dinner within the hotel (or order room service). And there is a little "snack bar" type of section near the lobby where you can purchase things like chips/crisps, chocolate, nuts, pastries. The staff is also very friendly, warm, and attentive. I made a few friends there too. We would like to give a special shoutout to Dario at the bar! Overall, my stay was a 10/10. Will definitely return the next time I visit my family in Honduras!…

I stayed at the Hyatt for business. I had originally made a reservation with city views and got pool view room. The room was filthy floors, bed sheets had blood stains, and bath towels were black. I had asked them to move me into a clean room they ended up giving me a room where the A/C was not working. At this point I was so upset! They moved me again. I must say that for a Hyatt this hotel is falling short. The staff is not friendly at all Breakfast is good. Pool area is nice but other than that this hotel is a disappointment.

My husband and I have stayed at Hyatt Place properties in Central America and the United States. The Hyatt in San Pedro is in a class of its own. The staff is very accommodating. Guests are welcomed as if they are family. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Unlike some other hotels - not Hyatt - the rooms are maintained so as to show little wear and tear. We love the restaurant staff and the menu. All I can say is I don't stay anywhere else when I go to San Pedro Sula. It's like going home.

I have stayed at the property many times. The biggest attraction was the excellent breakfast. Upon arrival, my reserved King Bed was reduced to two doubles. The breakfast is now a buffet without sausage or bacon. Food items frequently run out with lots of apologies when there is no replacement (yogurt in my case). I'll try another property next time.
