The Hotel Calle Real is located close to the main square up a steep cobblestone street. The room was large with two double beds. The bathroom was large and clean. The WIFI worked well throughout the hotel. There are roosters close by so earplugs are a must. There is a little café on site and free drinking water is available.

This was a decent place to stay. It was pretty clean (smelled like febreeze, so not sure what that meant) and had a nice shower. There were a few ants in my room (which I killed), but would be nice if not there. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. It should be mentioned that it is walking distance to...

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable however there was a party from a nearby neighbour which went well into the night. The nana made the food which was lovely. Upstairs there is a sun spot with hammocks to relax in.

Very cheap hoteland very quiet place to relax. There is a small restaurant where you get coffee and food. You are served bya grandma I liked very much. On a roof top they have hammocks to relax. Car parking is possible.

Good location close to the main square. Good cheap breakfast. Helpful staff. Rooms were clean. The hotel rooster was a problem. Started to crow at 4.20am. I am happy to spend an extra few dollars a night and not have freshly laid eggs. What are they thinking, that the rooster will not disturb the guests???

Small, quaint hotel with the nicest of owners. Small rooms, and no air con but fans did the job so no issue. Very decent and cheap breakfast and free clean water. No real complaints other than the rooster that is next door but all good orherwise.

This hotel is an experience, there is a lot of character to the actual structure of the building. I stayed on the bottom floor and it was fine. The room consisted of two double beds, a tv and quite a big bathroom which was clean with hot water. You can spend time upstairs chilling in hammocks. There is also a...

Room was spacious enough for 2 girls. Showers are lukewarm at best, but for me this wasn't an issue due to humidity. The room and bathroom were both clean, towels and sheets included. Having a bug or two in the room should be expected when traveling to more basic accommodations in Central America. Relaxing third floor with covered hammocks and...

Hotel is clean but basic. It's nice to stay for a few days especially because we don,t spend a lot of time in the room. Have everything we needed and i can recommend breakfast or dinner in this hotel. Staff was very friendly.

“The rooms at the back are, I think, a little nicer than the rooms by the road and on the side (partly because they seem newer and are not as stuffy or damp.) I was in room 21 which had two beds. The room had a ceiling fan but no air-conditioning. It was comfortable, nevertheless.”
