Casa del Cafe is on the Southern edge of town, a mere 5 minutes walk to the village center. It has 10 rooms in 2 rows of 5 inside a perfectly landscaped garden. Each room has a double bed, a ceiling fan, and a nice bathroom with hot water shower, toilet and sink. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere...

Perfect place for an exploration trip to the Copan ruins. Charming bilingual staff and fresh coffee always available. Tasty breakfast in the lovely tropical garden. Rooms and facilities are very basic but everything necessary is there, incl hammocks, wifi and a small library. Feel at home with your cup of coffee or a shot of rum and have a massage...

My friend and I stayed at Casa de Cafe for 3 nights last February and had a fantastic time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and helpful in sharing travel info and stories. The hotel was simple in a zen-like way, with colorful gardens and hammocks in the yard. Breakfasts were healthy and filling and tasty. My friend got a...

I come up with the idea of visiting Copan just 2 day in advance. Found this on tripadvisor. I am glad I chose it. The owner is very friendly. He provide lots of useful information, such as bus schedule/cost, restaurant location, ruin location. I did not do much visit planning in advance so he is very very helpful on my...

Just left Copan. The owner and his wife were exceptionally helpful. We had rental car problems. They helped us get a mechanic and got the car running. He also reported problem to rental car agency. Service above and beyond normal. Excellent food and coffee. Staff is wonderful.

I was worried this hotel was off the beaten path from the center of town as other reviews mentioned, but it's literally maybe 4 blocks away....nothing that will keep you from enjoying town or La Casa de Cafe. We arrived to a gorgeous view of the rolling hills stumbling to neighboring Guatemala. The rooms were simple and clean and the...

You can always count on this place to provide a relaxing atmosphere to recharge your batteries. The hammocks were my weekend sanctuary:) the staff are always very kind, warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Especially the home made bread. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

We spent 3 nights at la Casa de Cafe and would return in a minute. The rooms are very simple but spotlessly clean and in good condition. They serve a wonderful breakfast with different options daily. The real gems here are the people. Faultlessly polite, welcoming, and helpful. The owner's niece was filling in while they were away and when...

One of the great things about small towns almost anywhere is that all the taxi drivers know the good places. I had a reservation at La Casa de Cafe on the recommendation of friends, and when I got off the Hedman-Alas bus and through the terminal, all I had to say was, "Casa de..." and the friendly cabbie stuck up...
