Second time staying here. Budget hotel with the basics. This is Honduras, things start early and are kind of noisy. But were in Copan for early starts. Ask the host for the WiFi password. Pay a little more for the rooms with air-conditioner.

Room was fine. Nothing amazing but clean and functional. Unfortunately they had decided to replace the floor outside our room. This involved a hammer and a chisel to remove the old cement. Work began at 7am outside our door which unsurprisingly woke us up.they did not mention this building work when we checked in. I would not recommended staying here, there are loads of similar places in town which wouldn't do that sort of thing.

So glad I found this place. Stayed here during Semana Santa since I couldn't make it all the way to Gracias because public transportation stopped running. So basically I got stuck in Copan Ruinas. First of all, its a great place to get "stuck" in and second, the family who owns the hotel is absolutely awesome. They helped me contact my reservation in Gracias and let them know my dilemma. My girlfriend became a favorite of the two youngest daughters. We got to travel with the family to some hot springs and then got invited to the older daughter's birthday party at a horse ranch. I can't say it will happen like this with everyone, but it definitely pays to be a respectable and engaging hotel guest. They treated us like family. And please let them make you some fried chicken. We stayed here for two nights! Very clean and only a block away from the little central park! The attention was great as well and very safe! The people that are in charge of the hotel are very nice and helpful as well. They gave us some great recommendations and even told is how to get places! Very quiet for those that have trouble sleeping with noises around and great wifi :)

We were guided to this place by a local that was with us on the bus, and we were so happy that we did! This place is only one block from the main square. It is in a safe area, has strong WiFi everywhere (including inside the rooms), the rooms are nice with 1/2/3 beds inside and private bathrooms. Shower and toilet were both clean and tidy and they even have hot water 24/7! They also give you towels and toilet paper. And we only paid $12.50 per night for a double room with a private bathroom! The owners and manager (Carlos) are very friendly and pleasant people. They even let us use their kitchen also they plan to build a separate kitchen for the guests very soon. If I ever visit Copan again I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
