A group of us stayed here and had a very pleasant stay. From the street you couldn't imagine how beautiful this place is. It looks tiny from the street, but it is not. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (for a Honduran hotel). The towels are scratchy and they only give you what you need. But the breakfast is excellent, the pool is warm and the atmosphere is tropical. A very good stay. I would totally come back again.. but bring my own towels.
Right downtown but quiet rooms. My room was very large, facing the pool, with super quiet AC. A great nights sleep. The free breakfast was better than most but nothing fancy. The second floor was very nice.
An excellent choice. Big spacious rooms with fan and ac. Comfy large beds. Good shower and a reasonable bathroom. There is a pleasant swimming pool which was a real bonus. It is one block from town square, and two from the microbrewery. Breakfast was slow but hey cafe welchez is seconds away
Copan Ruinas is very small, the nearby UNESCO-listed Mayan ruins the rainson d'etre for tourists to visit. The hotel was just a block from the central plaza. It has a pool which was ideal on very hot and sticky days. My room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchenette facilities were a surprise. Water was supplied. We actually had our breakfasts at another hotel so cannot comment on any food there. A general note: you can use Guatemalan quetzals but the typical exchange rate given in restaurants and bars was only about two-thirds the rate. For two days, it is best to use US dollars for the best exchange rate.
Really enjoyed our stay in Plaza Magdalena. Great location, nice rooms, convenient for families since they have small kitckens (refrigerator and sink). Obed at the front desk was very friendly and great recommending places to visit. Thanks for tending to us and all of our questions!
