To begin, my review will be slanted toward the negative as they lost our pre-paid reservation during Semana Santa and I am still awaiting my refund nearly four weeks later. However, I will try to be factual and accurate in my review. Paya Bay probably has one of the prettiest locations on the island. You sit high on the cliff...

We stayed on west bay beach during our stay on Roatan and while the beach is great it is so busy, so we decided to hire a driver and visit Paya Bay for the day. Although it is a far drive from the rest of the island activities, restaurants, etc Paya Bay the perfect place to relax & unwind away...

This property is a lovely and well thought out resort with a little something for everyone. The grounds are splendid. The water and snorkling are perfect and for something different , sneak off to the very well hidden nude beach or just explore the nature that abounds at every turn. The rooms are very nice and comfy with awe inspiring...

Paya Bay is nearly everything that my fellow Tripadvisor reviewers have written about. It is situated on a peninsula, on the northeastern, undeveloped side of Roatan, 20 minutes drive on a rough road off the main highway. It is more than worth the schlep. If you want amazing views of turquoise waters and tree-covered hillsides everywhere you look, this place...

This place is like "Sangri-La" from the Lost Horizon movie... There is beauty, colors, gorgeous beaches, mountains, landscapes, wonderful flora and fauna... that is just to start with. The actual geography of the resort is on a small hill overlooking at beach settings facing East and North; there is also a gorgeous set for yoga practicing, which faces West and...

If you want to get away from it all this is the place. About an hours drive from Mahogany Bay this is truly the Garden of Eden. We had a day pass while cruising on the Crown Princess. Carl picked us up and swept us away to this garden spot. We were greeted with open arms and shown to our...

I have traveled to many places from Guam, to Canada, to Europe and to Mexico. I have been on cruises and to all-inclusive resorts. While on a cruise last year my wife and I obtained a Day-Pass to Paya Bay Resort. I never thought it possible to be treated like royalty but the staff at Paya Bay was absolutely amazing....

We returned last week from a fun, relaxing vacation at Paya Bay. It is easy to see why many view this property as a little slice of paradise. The setting is spectacular, with beautiful views of the bay and reef beyond at every turn on the pathways which meander through the property. Paya Bay is the only resort in sight,...

We booked the day excursion through Paya Bay during our stop in Roatan on our Royal Caribbean cruise. It was perfect! We got away from the cruise ship crowds and got to experience a great, locally owned resort. The driver picked us up at the port, and drove us to the resort, which took a little over an hour each...
