Once you reach the resort, there is no reason to go anywhere else. This is the definition of Paradise. Off the beaten path, yet close enough to be in touch( theres even online access) One can live like Robinson Cursoe or like the Social Elite. All you could ask for is at your command. The hosts Gary and his wife...

Best combination of service and location on Roatan. They booked all our tours right at the desk. From bone fishing, deep sea fishing to dive trips at 34 world class sites. Location is very private....away from the crowds, which is just what the "doctor ordered". Professional and friendly staff, beachfront setting, swim out to the barrier reef, great chef, and...

Our family of five stayed at Palmetto Bay Plantation in January for nine nights. We stayed at Hibiscus A4. The place is like no other on earth, never crowded - true paradise. Palmetto Bay is great for snorkeling, diving (reefs just out off shore) beachwalking, kayaking and beach volleyball. Shallow water is save for kids - you can see starfish,...

My family and I vacationed in Honduras this winter break, and were quite disappointed. When we were driving to the hotel I was expecting a short 5-10 minute ride. After about 2 minutes into the road(which had many potholes and was made from dirt) we passed a garbage dump. Not only did it have a fowl odor but it was...

We were so excited to get to Palmetto Bay but what a disappointment when we finally arrived. We were escorted to our house and there was garbage strew along the way in addition to a foul odor coming from fetid pools of mud. Their was a plank of wood leading us off the boardwalk onto the path up to the...

With a "Salva Vita" cool drink in my hand I watched the gentle waves pulse against the beautiful coral reef in the distance. As the breeze danced on my skin I giggled as if I were 12 again thinking about the Terrible temperature I left back home in MN. Each day the sun would rise and the birds would chirp...

Beautiful resort, in a wonderful, secluded bay. The cottages are very big (we were a couple with two bedrooms!) and perfectly furnished. The wonderful thing is that they are completely sourrended by a luxuriant tropical vegetation. The food of the restaurant is very good and the service excellent! Great the Honduras buffet one day a week! The beach is beautiful,...

The quiet and beautiful Garden Environment was food for the soul. The clean, serene beach was a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. But you can get that at most any reputable Resort. What made Palmetto Bay Plantation a special, "I wanna go back there" place was there staff and their excellent food. My hat is off...

Recently returned from a one week stay at the Palmetto Bay Plantation (PBP). As one of a party of 5 travelers, we each had our own agendas for the visit. We rented a 3 bedroom villa which opened up to the beach. The views were wonderful. For our adventures, we went on the nearby zipline tour, traveled to the West...
