My family and I stayed there for two nights and it was wonderful. The hotel had beautiful views of the lake and volcano. The staff was very accomodating and polite. They provided wonderful room service to my 90 year mom who could not walk to the restaurant. Enjoyed many walks through their beautiful gardens. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Large room with safe, but no fridge. Balcony overlooking lovely gardens and with a stunning view to the volcanoes across the lake. The garden was alive with hummingbirds, orioles and many other species. Good restaurant and friendly staff It's a bit out of town - not walkable, but only a short taxi ride. The setting makes up for it.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds with lots of birds, plans and flowers and a stunning view of the lake and volcanoes. Everything was superb except that the food in the restaurant was poor. The bedrooms all have a view of the lake which is good and the rooms are very comfortable. the main hotel areas are decorated beautifully.

We stayed in this hotel which our guide said was the best in town. It really looked like paradise with an enormous garden with beautiful flowers and birds and nice corridors and rooms with interesting details. The restaurant overlooking the Atitlan lake and the volcanoes was also wonderful with colorful plates and glasses. However the food was not only boring...

I had lunch at the hotel one afternoon. The views are breath taking. The food was great, the menu had many options, and a decent price. While we were waiting for our food, we walking around the ground, absolutely beautiful!! This place is worth traveling to just for the views.

We went there to have lunch and to see the gardens which are amazing. The staff were so delightful that my next visit to Guatemala we are considering staying a few days here!! Lovely hotel right on the shore on beautiful lake Atitlan. Great room with the best view of the lake. Modern updated bathrooms. Rooms decorated in the traditional Guatemalan style. Beds large and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is the best in Panajachel. The hotel grounds are expertly manicured. Staff was very attentive to our needs. The place is very romantic. Had...

We spent a week at Hotel Atitlan in February, 2014. We loved the charm of the hotel with wonderful local art work at every turn. We booked one of the suites, and our room was lovely, with a wonderful view of the lake and the volcanoes. The gardens were truly spectacular. We loved walking through them and enjoying the birds...

Only stopped one night, would have liked to stay longer. Nestled on the side of the lake surrounded by mountains & volcanoes with it's own jetty, helicopter pad, infinitely hot tub and beautiful swimming pool. Fantastic gardens to wander around with caged birds tucked around each corner. The food & service were good as were the surroundings for eating. This...
