Dated, towels smell like bleach hot water doesn't work, No A/C terrible furniture bed it's hard as a rock, No Wi-Fi, very small TV's This hotel never told me about checking out time was at 2:00 and when I check out around 2:30pm they charge me one hour straight for the room Q280.00 = $40.00 for and extra 30 minutes of stay. Do your self a favor stay away from this place
Very good location- walking distance to the historical center. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the restaurant offers a nice breakfast. The property is also very secure. There are not a lot of dining options around the restaurant (aside from the Burger King nextdoor), but the hotel restaurant is open for dinner.
Beautiful hotel in Zone 4; rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel grounds are pretty. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Gated property with armed guards; not sure why, area was quiet at night although we were advised not to walk at night. Hotel felt secure. It about 10 minutes from Open Market/Governor's Palace area and about 20 minutes from the airport. has in room wifi.
Nice hotel, with very nice accomodations. Really clean and a good restaurant with delightful sandwiches. Free wifi as well, and in a good location. The building is from the 70/80's decade and I loved the architecture. I would recommend it in Guatemala City.
This is the noisiest hotel I have stayed in... huge groups of kids and athletes are present, on the weekend the hotel hosts evangelical seminars and the noise level increase, but at least this time it is with music and prayer instead of screams until late hours in the night. I work for an NGO and was trying to save some pennies and this was a bad decision, for 7 dolars more you can stay at Eesidencias del Sol, close by, quiet, internet, good food and friendly staff.
