It's a common average hotel where lots of charity Christian and human rights groups stay. We had a lot in common with people we met there. It's not a hostel but attracts the more mature doers of the world. Our small dog travels with us so it is always great to stay where our dog child is welcomed without a...

I've stayed here on two different mission trips to the interior of Guatemala. I found it charming (the flowers overflowing in the courtyard are amazing. No a/c and yes its noisy however you are in the city after all. Breakfast was nothing to speak of but I'm likely using my spoiled North American experiences to judge that. The fruit was...

I have been in Guatemala City many times and definitely this is the best place to stay in the city. Safe and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location and pleasant atmosphere. Clean and quiet room. Beautiful house.

I have stayed at many motels in Latin America, including some of the most expensive, the least expensive, and everything in between. I found this one to be pretty range as far as quality, niether luxurious, nor aweful. So let´s start with the good points. It has plenty of warm wáter for showers. There are TVs in the room, and...

We needed to stay close to Litegua bus terminal to catch our early morning bus, so the location was perfect. Our room was dated , but clean. No hot water. No wi-fi in the room, just a small spot by reception. Noisy, but after 10pm it was ok. Helpful staff. Good price.

Great atmosphere with a lovely patio/garden, spacious and decent standard rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, affordable cafeteria for breakfast and lunch. The wifi was either not working or extremely slow during my week long stay, however this is also the only thing bad I have to say about the place.

This hotel is located a short walk from the central plaza, cathedral, and market. It seems to cater to groups as well as accommodate individual travelers. The rooms are clean enough, there is good security, and wifi is accessible in some areas of the building. For a small fee they will store items if you are traveling elsewhere and returning,...

Not flash by any means but we found it great for our needs. Good security and very helpful front desk. Squeaky old floors but a pleasant old building and a nice courtyard. We used the share bathrooms which were clean and tidy at all times with a good supply of hot water! Definitely NO worms or nasties!! Would certainly recommend...

The hotel has largely lived up to many of its negative reviews...but it's not all bad. I did find a dead cockroach on the floor in my room but it was at least dead. Otherwise the room was clean even I fthe carpet and decor was a bit old and faded. The bed linnens were clean with no bugs of...

I first stayed at the Hotel Spring 25 years ago and looked forward to being back. The rooms haven't changed much -- if you are much over 5'8" you will hit your head on the bathroom door frame (at least in Room 8). Our bodies felt the bedsprings as well - but that may be par for Guatemala (and more...
