On arriving to Keana Point we weren’t sure if we had found the right place. The exterior does not match the pictures online. Once inside we were met by a lovely receptionist who checked us in and helped us to book an Uber for our very early flight the next day! Thank you. We stayed in a private double room. The room itself could be cleaner and there was a smell of damp throughout the property. The water pressure in the bathroom is low so the shower did not work. Updates are needed!

This place is amazing. First of all it is probably one of the cheapest places in Guatemala City, secondly it is very clean and comfortable. It is only a five minutes drive from the airport yet easy to get to the centre of town. It is one of the only actual Guatemalan owned hostels and the owner Axel is fantastic. He was always very helpful and showed me around town and introduced me to all the coolest spots this city has on offer. Can't wait to go back here again!

I initially ended up here because it was close to Tica Bus and I needed a place to crash. I was surprised how nice it is, which I hadn't expected for this price! Axl, the owner, does his best to accommodate everyone, offering me a delicious drink after I had been on the public transport for too long. I decided to come back a second time before a flight, and again he surprised me with his generous offer of driving me to the airport at 5 in the morning. I never had any breakfast because I always left at ungodly morning times, but they also do lunch and it's extremely cheap and yummy!

Kaena point hostel is a great option to stay close to the hostel. Its cheap and clean. The owner is super friendly. We arrived late and he was already full but he helped us out and give us a room for one night. Also he drived us to a place where we had good tacos. He did everything that we felt us well. Really recommendable this place. Ah...when he have time he also bring his guests to the airport. He is really cute. I will be back for sure when i have to spend a night close to the airport. Thank youuuuu for everything.
