I love the home like and family feel of Posada El Arco in Chichi. Hosts to global inhabitants, the owners and managers make you feel safe and welcome. Parking is within guarded walls. The habitaciones are clean and pleasant and comfy. We keep a place here year round and find it convenient for our clinical mission trips, market needs, and...

The Posada was reserved for us by a friend who lives in Chichi. We got what is probably the best room in the inn: comfortable queen-size bed with a million dollar view looking over the posada's garden and north toward Santa Rosa del Quiché. One day the owner, Pedro Macario, offered to accompany us to the ancient Quiché capital of...

Spacious, clean, and a view of the city and gardens. Pedro and Silvia both do a great job of making you feel welcome. Take Padro up on breakfast as he roasts his own beans and provides great conversation! Loved having a place to come back to in the middle of the day of shopping at the market to think through...

Very reasonably priced wonderful hotel. Proprietress is the best - very helpful and enjoys showing the property. Make sure to spend some time in the garden out back. If driving, there is parking available, however getting in and out is a bit of an adventure depending on how many other cars. The location could not be better, easy walking distance...

Nice inexpensive place to stay when in ChiChi. Pedro roasts local coffee beans and serves a bottomless cup every morning. He is a wonderful host. We are in the area at least (1X) per year doing volunteer work and I would not stay anywhere else. Location is within easy walking distance to the Thursday and Sunday Market, as well as...

My wife and I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Silvia, the manager, and Pedro, the owner, were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Don't expect wifi or a TV but a place to rest after a long market day. Ask for a room other than...

We arrived at the Posada a bit tired of the long drive. The person that opened the door is the lady that works there, she is the one that makes the posada a nice place. She was so welcoming, gave us a map, adviced us on where to go, and made sure me and my family were comfortable. At night...

My group stayed at this lovely hotel for over a week - on a Mission Trip to Guatemala. The hosts were like family to us and took care of our every need. Sylvia the housekeeper did our personal laundry for a very small fee. Our group occupied most of the rooms in the hotel and we were able to even...

This lovely hotel not far from the central market is an oasis in Chichicastenango. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, lovingly decorated, and overlook an inviting garden. But what made the hotel so special is the warmth and friendliness of the hosts. Although we only stayed one night, Pedro, Emilsa, Eduardo and Silvia treated us like family, and could not do...

My husband and I booked the room facing the garden with a large balcony because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! Don Pedro and his family were gracious hosts and catered to our every need. Our room #7 was large, clean, private bath w hot water, had a cool fireplace and a balcony overlooking the garden....
