Near the arch in Chichicastenango, is a lovely, friendly family run hotel, Posada El Arco. The rooms are large and clean with fireplaces. Each room is decorated with local art and textiles. The bathrooms are large with plenty of hot water in the shower. Pedro,...More
Posada El Arco is a great place in Chichi the hostess is wonderful as well with the owners that are friendly and thoughtful. It's conveniently located a few steps away from the famous market. My room was spacious and cozy and with really nice interiors...More
it is easy to find thanks to the great location, near the Arch and walking distance to the heart of this cute city and market. The tenant is very welcoming and bedrooms are big. This is not the cheapest hotel but it has charm.

Do a search of Trip Advisor or Google Posada El Arco. A photo of their business card comes up in Trip Advisor. Call them and talk to Pedro. He speaks English. Guatemala is on Central Time. Hope this helps.

Sorry I can't really help with a phone or address... we never make reservations, preferring to actually lay eyes on the room before signing up! This little posada actually had nothing by way of signage on the street, so luckily we had the address... we beat on the door a while before it was finally opened.
It really was a good stay. If you can't get hold of them and are not arriving at a peak time (Day of the Dead, Christmas, Easter...) it would be worth doing a walk up.
Enjoy your trip!
