This is my second stay at this lodge - to me its perfectly located for discovering the Toldeo district. There was 5 of us in our group and we had two hotel rooms which were perfectly clean with very comfortable beds. The swimming area is great to cool off especially being unique in the jungle. Thanks to Rusty & Sheila...

This is the best place to stay in Toledo! The room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. It was much more than we expected. We had everything we needed and more. The lodge is a good distance off the road providing privacy and that jungle feeling that you want to experience in Belize. A special highlight was the family of...

Had the privilege of spending 1 night here. The rooms were nicely furnished, comfortable bed, friendly and quick check in. It was awesome to see our first Howler Monkey tho a little alarming hearing him the night before. Has a nice swimming hole and picnic area. Beautiful grounds, if you love nature this is the place to go. For the...

Thanks for the review, Tabitha. I had to laugh about the alarming howler monkey. I guess even our alarms are eco! Hope we see you, Jason, and your moms again.

My wife and I spent 8 days in this fantastic place. The bed was probably one of the best we had slept in in a long time, the fairly big room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The dining area under the palapa roof on the second floor is conveniently closed in by mosquito nets, adding all the...

This little hidden spot was quite a surprise! Rooms were clean and comfortable, quite relaxing after a long day on the road. The grounds were well kept and had visible signs pointing directions. I am a birder and got up early to find a few birds around. Between 6am and breakfast at 7am, I logged 52 species!!! Breakfast was well...

This lodge lives up to its name: peaceful road. We truly relaxed in a very comfortable room sleeping to the sounds of nature to soothe us to sleep. Rusty and Sheila are gracious hosts who treat you like family. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. We added the dinner option which was also outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice lodge, AC, TV, Bedroom, and different size beds in the lodge. In the middle of the jungle, with a nice swimming hole 2 minutes into the bush. We had a great breakfast prepared for us and enjoyed our stay. Great place to relax and enjoy the jungle!

I organize groups of volunteers working in the Mayan villages. We have been staying at the lodge since 2012. At times our group of 20 took up the entire lodge. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Lee and Suzy even helped us prepare materials for elementary school activities and assemble water filters for families without clean water. Lee had...

Our stay here turned out to be far below our expectations. The advertised "swimming hole" is not swimmable at all. It is still water, dirty, and has a stench. The owners pretended to be friendly but lied directly to our face in order to make money. Do not book any kind of travel, taxis or excursions through them. You can...
