We went through hurricane earl here! The hotel is very nice, our room was small but very clean and had everything we needed. It was a complicated stay but the hotel staff did everything at their power to make us feel safe and confortable. They were absolutely flawless!

Hurricane Earl has come and gone and left a trail of destruction. Thankfully we were not as affected as other parts of the country. Your pleasant attitude made a difficult situation more palatable. I hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your travels.

Overall I would give this place 3 stars but if you rate it against other hotels in the area it would be a 5 star hotel. Rooms were air conditioned but soap and shampoo were not provided. They were also in the middle of construction/remodeling so it was probably a bit more dirty and noisy then normal. But if you...

We do provide soap in the rooms. Perhaps you missed it. Because of your feedback, we are now reviewing the possibility of offering shampoo to our guests. Your review is spot on. We are a 2 or 3 star hotel, not 5 :-) Thank you!

My partner and I stayed at hotel de la fuente for a few days, and we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel provided breakfast every single morning, and free coffee which i miss by the way. They booked our mayan temple tour, which was easy. The employees were so nice and hospitable. On our last night, the front desk offered us to...

We booked this hotel on-line through their website for our 2 night stay. From the first e-mail response, the service was excellent. Eber and others quickly answered any questions we had. We also booked our Lamanai adventure through the hotel. Our room (#309) had a nice view of gardens out back and the New River. It was a great place...

The large room was pleasant, a fridge was an extra bonus, as is the off street parking. Staff were helpful. But just to add a note of caution to the other, extremely positive reviews was the noise. We had a family on one side of us, a couple on the other, and the walls are thin. It was noisy and...

The hotel is an oasis of calm and cleanliness in a busy town. The staff are very helpful and can arrange trips to Lamanai. There is a good breakfast service and the hotel also arrange transport to thei restaurant which is on the river bank and serves great food.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I'd been told it was good, but it wasn't, it was great! Well equipment, clean, spacious rooms with neat bathrooms (and power showers - when you're in Belize you'll quickly know why this is a real bonus!). Staff are cheerful, friendly and very helpful. I will be coming back, for sure!

We stayed in the very comfortable Riverside Cabins, at a great location a few miles out of the town. The breakfasts are taken at the main hotel in the centre of town, where they serve a range of delicious and ample Belizean breakfasts (try their eggs, beans and fried jacks!). The space is well appointed and the service was excellent....

Don't get me wrong. De La Fuente is a beautiful hotel, nice front desk staff, nice lil restaurant with great breakfast, great parking if you get there in time to beat everyone else and there is no construction going on, nice clean room, nice bathroom, and were nice enough to put an extra bed in the room. All that is...

We feel you pain and apologize for the slow internet. Nothing spoils a pleasant stay like crappy wifi. We have taken steps to remedy the problem. Next time you visit you will note the difference. We have also upgraded to 4 megabits of bandwidth.

Wonderful small hotel with excellent decor inside, cool cheap drinks (both sinful and non-alcoholic), and a very friendly local staff with English at a native speaker's level. Got to talk about Belize, its many ethnic groups, and border troubles with Guatemala. Sent us to wonderful restaurants and recommended great tours!
