My wife and I had a last minute business trip to make down south. We called the customer service number for Khalkob and from the opening of the call, the pleasant, friendly greeting was a testimony of an experience. We booked our room and prior to arriving, the manager was always engaging and communicating our arrival. Upon arriving we were met with welcoming arms by the onsight manager who greeted and walked us through check in. They are gold standard I must say. They had all protocols in place due to the pandemic and every step was followed in making sure guest were safe and practice social distancing. The signs all over property, hand sanitizers outside and inside rooms are just a few to mention. Rooms were clean, comfortable and very up to date.Safe environment and convenient to find. Fleshed out kitchen and air conditioned. The issue with other high end resorts is that they're at least a 20 minute drive into the village. Thankfully, Khalkob is located within the actual village of Placencia itself meaning you can enjoy all the comforts of being at home, while having the beach and bars at arm's length. Cannot reccomnend enough.

We stayed at this property for two days because we had a work event to attend in Placencia. We needed a child-safe place because we traveled with our 1 year old who would stay in the house during the day. We booked one of the suites that have its private balcony with two sitting areas and it was very spacious and extremely comfortable.The entire place was spotlessly clean and fresh linens awaited on us. The kitchen has all amenities needed including a tray of all sorts of spices to cook. The home is not only minutes walking distance from restaurants, supermarkets but the beach as well. Beautiful property with lovely staff that makes you feel at home away from home.
