Unfortunately, the owners of this hotel appear to not have an understanding of business to be able to make this property a success. This place is almost the same as it was 25 years ago when I last visited Dangriga but it actually declined. The property is one of the most underutilized of any property I have visited around the...

We come here often and love it! The staff are amazing and the location is fabulous with great views and wildlife. It's within walking distance of the airport and a great stopover before going to any of the cayes or atolls. The one downside is the food service is slow, so be prepared to be on Belizean time.

I have stayed at Pelican Beach some 15 times since 1989, and each stay is better than the last. The helpful, knowledgeable staff tops the list of pluses, and the location, relaxed atmosphere, and dining is not to be matched anywhere else in town. The number of local families having dinner, and local businessmen entertaining clients for lunch, is a...

My wife and I drove down to Dangriga to visit with friends and we're too tired to drive back up to Belize City so we asked around for a good place to stay the night and we THOROUGHLY enjoyed our evening there. From the friendly staff, to the delicious food, fantastic views and even an evening conversation with one of...

The staff is helpful, kind and patient. The food is great and the view from the rooms are spectacular. This is a rustic hotel that is extremely clean. The hotel is located on the beach. The water is a strong and it is not recommended for swimming if you are not a strong swimmer, however there are other beaches nearby...

Conveniently located at the foot of the runway of the airport. We stayed here for the night before catching the boat for Off The Wall Dive Center. Room was clean. The attached restaurant was very adequate, and staff very friendly. The room air conditioner seemed to struggle most of the night, but it was nice to have. Hotel accommodations are...

Very inviting - clean rooms - we were on ground level and had a nice patio outside our rooms. There was an airport next door and was interesting to see the planes take off. Some mattresses should be replaced on the double beds in the rooms we had. You fell to the middle. The queen beds were OK. Lovely place...

This is the only hotel, it is tired but clean. First floor rooms are accessed by unlit steps! All rooms have outdoor seating area with hammock & chairs. No hairdryer but eventually had 2! AC in rooms plus a fridge. The staff are very helpful & attentive, the food is good, we had pre-ordered but they would change if you...

A pleasant place but I could not cope with the over bath shower. They changed my room for one with a lower tub which was great but was up a flight on unlit, concrete steps. I was not impressed by the food but this was probably because our agents had preordered because of the places reputation for slow service.

Disappointed this was the only place in the area so you were secluded to staying at the resort the entire time. Unless you wanted to venture to their town which I would not recommend walking or doing at night. Resort does not even have lounge chairs to lay on the beach. Not worth the money.
