Such a cute place!! The jungle huts were pretty small and crowded for 3 but we made it work! Porch with hammock, in the middle of the jungle canopy, sweet little common porch/supper/chill out area. The meals they serve are so delicious!!! Had one supper...More
We are a family of 4, stayed at Parrot nest for 2 nights. We had a cabin and a tree house. We celebrated our daughters 21st Birthday and Theo made her a fantastic eggless cake. They served us wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Also helped us...More
I can't believe the Parrott nest lodge! The owner is amazing. Anything you need or want she is there to help. Her cooking is amazing too. If your in belize, it is a must. 6 stars. Congrats to Parrot nest! I will be back.

I'm sure they will be welcome, they are very friendly at the Parrot's nest. The crowd at the Parrot's nest changes depending on who is booking. The grounds are clean and the kid would have fun running around, except for the river being right there. Try it for a couple of nights. When experiencing new things, I only book for a couple of nights, then if things don't work out, you are not miserable the whole time. The food is good, they have a washer and I think a dryer and are relatively close to town, but it is too far to walk. They can call you a taxi.

We will be staying at the Lodge in late March, and will be using William's shuttle to get there from the airport. There is a link on the Parrot Nest Lodge website to the shuttle website. Price depends on number of riders, I believe, but for us each way will be just over $150, and is a two-hour trip (each way).

"Did not see the other cabins, but cabin #6 is the only one with a queen sized bed."
