Great place to stay while visiting San Ignacio. Casa Blanca is convenient, clean and has our 2 requirements- AC and bathroom. Staff is friendly, helpful, and always available. Shared kitchen and living room area- great place to meet and visit with new friends. The outside balcony is a great place to watch the city activity. We highly recommend Casa Blanca!

This is a good overnighter stop. It's not a Ritz and is actually one step up from a hostel. It is clean and safe. There is a common area with sitting room, kitchen, and dining area. It's a place to flop and feed yourself but don't expect frills. There is a toilet and shower in each room and a ceiling fan....

I spent four weeks at Casa Blanca in San Ignacio while student teaching. It's in the perfect location, right in the middle of town! Its in walking distance from shops, restaurants, pools, and Cahal Pech! The living area was well-maintained and the bedrooms/bathrooms very clean. The air/conditioner in our room worked so well, we would get cold! Casa Blanca was...

Ideal for exploring local area and comfortable welcoming atmosphere.central location for restaurants. Clean and sitting area and fridge a bonus the only problem was the noisy nightclub nearby and lorries going through early morning

We stayed here 3 nights and found it very affordable, with a full common kitchen if you chose, or the best restaurant across the street (Hannah's ). Rooms are basic and not fancy but fine for us. We had 3 beds, a tiny bathroom that took awhile to get hot water ( and don't expect pressure) but very serviceable. Beds...

Just returned from San Ignacio. We decided to try Casa Blanca on the advice of friends. We're not disappointed. Was clean, staff was wonderful and having a common room equipped with fridge and microwave was perfect. People watching from the balcony was fun. Showed us places to eat by the volume of people entering restaurants. I would recommend this inexpensive...

This hotel is well located in the heart of San Ignacio and was very comfortable. After having spent a couple of weeks in hostels sleeping on what felt like bricks, it was a welcome change to spend a couple of nights sleeping on a nice comfortable mattress. The showers are hot (which is great after an ATM cave tour) and...

On first impressions this didn't look great. The door was locked from the outside, but this was good for security, you get a key for the front door when you check in. The hotel reception was only manned until 8pm, although it was possible to find staff at night in an emergency. The hotel rooms were sizeable and the beds...

We stayed at the Casa Blanca for two nights and were sceptical after reading reviews. The hotel had locked iron gates in front the door and a lounge area reminiscent of times gone by. The room at first impression was quite tired, and air con charged at $20 per night....BUT staff lovely...room had lots of storage, good shower, free wifi...

The owner, Beatriz Guerra, operates a pleasant guest house that far exceeded my expectations for a week stay. Slept well each night. Well located, clean, comfortable human scale facility that great benefits from the owner's commitment to hospitality. Walking into Casablanca, I immediately felt welcome, comfortable and safe. Those expecting a luxury hotel will be disappointed. This is a guest...
