We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the cabins. The cabins are clean and have bathrooms with hot water. The site has hammocks under a shady veranda and there is plenty of clean grass to sit on. Best of all is the location- it is very close to town for restaurnats etc. There are many birds as well...

Lovely place, very quiet and peaceful. The hammocks are awesome to chill in, and there is a ton of room to camp. Decent wifi, overall a really great place with wonderful owners! I would definitely come back!

We stayed here for three nights. Very close to the city center, but still quiet. We stayed in a private cabin. Everything was very clean. The owner is very kind, and so is his staff. Great hammock area in the shade and lots of green grass around if you just want to relax in the sun. The only thing that...

Oh .... yeah. Best family too! Javier, frank, Nelly, francisco & the younger brothers couldn't have been more welcoming. It was my 3rd night in Belize and I pitched a tent for me & my little dog (who was very welcomed) and it poured rain on and off for 48 hours. We still had a great time. Hanging out in...

The cabin we stayed in was so cute and perfect for what we were looking for. Nothing fancy about the cabin but...

We found Maka-Kai by asking a local for a campground, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We camped for 3 nights, and the price was $15 USD for the both of us per night. They have a great chilling spot with hammocks, good Wi-Fi, and nice showers. Best of all is the location. In the morning we would walk to...

We spontaneously showed up one day and the Mana-Kai staff graciously took us in. Beautiful area for campers, even a spot to take shelter under when the rains comes - complete with hammocks. We stayed in one of their cabins, which was clean and simple. Great place for people who are on a budget!

What a bargain. We tent camped here on our way to and from Guatemala in September. Great place to set up camp. Friendly staff, walk to town, riverfront, wifi all for a very affordable price. Will be back in Belize in January and will be staying here again.
