The tour outfits to nearby ruins, caves, and waterfalls are mostly located on the same road as the Venus Hotel. Most restaurants in the vicinity are located within a five-minute walk. Venus exceeded my expectations. I thought it was very clean, even though looking at the outside you may assume differently.

The room here was average, nothing wrong with it, but not much stands out. The staff was great for every night except the first night, that night a little party of guests and staff went a little late and got a little old. The location was great. From the bus terminal it's two blocks. It's also right on the main...

The whole group was unhappy with this hotel. The rooms were tiny, hot and stuffy. The water was turned off intermittently and cold showers! Upgrades to use the air conditioning were expense. The group thought this was the worst hotel we had stayed in on our trip from Mexico to Guatemala.

Perfect location on the main street with balcony backing onto the town square. Price was very good. Stayed three nights. Room was clean and spacious. There were a couple of problems with the water but you just had to wait a bit and it was fine. Staff was very friendly. Was mostly quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a solo traveller, and I was well happy with the place. Clean, helpful lady on reception. Nice chill out area, balcony overlooking the street. Right in square, dead easy to find, good wifi even in my room, tv....Seemed very safe and secure, I had no problems, with anything

Venus Hotel is located in a Great location. The rooms are Basic but they are clean and very comfortable and you can't beat the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus they have free air conditioning and tv. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room at the Venus Hotel was lovely but not without it's issues. The bathroom door, for example, was swinging sets of panels like something out of a western saloon bar. This didn't really give me and my roommate a whole lot of privacy when using the facilities. Other than this though it was great. I loved that it was...

I loved the location, next to it there is a your operator that I recomend. The rooms are very decent, for the price I paid of course. I stayed one night in a room with air condition and the next night in a room with just a fan. I literally was going to changed in the middle of the night...
