Venus Hotel is located in a Great location. The rooms are Basic but they are clean and very comfortable and you can't beat the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus they have free air conditioning and tv. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room at the Venus Hotel was lovely but not without it's issues. The bathroom door, for example, was swinging sets of panels like something out of a western saloon bar. This didn't really give me and my roommate a whole lot of privacy when using the facilities. Other than this though it was great. I loved that it was... More

I loved the location, next to it there is a your operator that I recomend. The rooms are very decent, for the price I paid of course. I stayed one night in a room with air condition and the next night in a room with just a fan. I literally was going to changed in the middle of the night... More

I loved this hotel. When we booked it for only $33US per night, I expected a dive. We got there though and it was very well kept up, with friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a fan and TV (you can pay a little more for air comnditiong but wee didn't... More

From the outside, this little place didn't look like much, but it did fit in to the old, tired and run down look of most of the downtown area of San Ignacio, but it was recommended, so we took a look. Inside, we found this place to be very clean, beautiful tile work and the room was great. The layout... More

When in Rome... Hey you want a fancy hotel find one for 100 plus a night. I was backpacking through and this worked well. Decent good staff. Bare bones room. Clean enough. Quirky enough to remind you not everyone needs a marble floor and doorman.

I love to stay where it's "happening". This place is right near the bus station- you only have to walk a block- you can see the hotel when you get off the bus- looking straight out and to the right a bit. Right on the pedestrian thoroughfare. Rooms were clean, beds were not that comfortable. The staff is very friendly-... More

Great location in the center of town. Lots of places to eat at and visit are close walking distance. The main stop for all buses is right next to the hotel plaza area. This also means that you can usually hear San Ignacio nightlife. Rooms can either have A/C or just a fan. We picked the cheaper fan option. The... More

Venus is in the heart of the city! The location made it easy to explore the town itself and is in close walking distance to one of the myan ruins. The rooms were clean for the most part, however the fan in our room made this horrible loud noise so we were not able to run it at night making... More

The room was basic but had a private bathroom and was very clean. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed my time at this hotel. There's 2 travel agencies within 15 seconds of the hotel entrance and plenty of food and shopping in the area. It's really a great location.
