We stayed here for one night in June 2022, prior to traveling on to Placencia. It was a good choice. Easy to book, and arrangements were made for a taxi driver to be waiting for us at the airport when we cleared customs. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The owner and staff are very nice. The owner chatted with us and gave us a dinner recommendation, a nice restaurant on the water that we could walk to. We had a great dinner there, watching the sunset. Villa Boscardi is in a nice location as you can take a short walk along the water. There is a nearby grocery store. The owner suggested we visit the rum museum, which we did. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning with fresh cooked eggs and pancakes. Highly recommend.
Quaint little place with friendly owner and staff. The place is close to the airport and the breakfast is good. I would recommend for a couple or a solo traveler. The room was clean and the area fell safe. There are a few attractions in a reasonable driving distance. The place might be a little noisy if you are a light sleeper, but I really didn’t mind. The property is very well maintained. It was ver comfortable and I enjoyed my two night stay.
Great breakfast and staff. Cozy, clean and comfortable rooms. Safe neighborhood with good restaurants. The staff were very personable and helpful with tour destinations. The yummy breakfasts were different each day we stayed and included protein and fruit. Great way to start each day!
Cozy hotel with a great vibe. Nice rooms, wonderful staff. Access to the common area and kitchen for your own leftovers and snacks. Lovely outdoor pool/spa for unwinding. Lisa cooks fresh, delicious breakfasts every morning and The owner will set up tours and drivers whenever you need them. Couldn’t ask for more!
This is a little bed and breakfast oasis in Belize City. Ms. Lays is a very nice woman who takes pride in her business. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hospitality of Ms. Lats, Ms. Pauline (Ms. P), and Ms. Elfra made me feel as if I was with family. They make sure you feel cared for and at peace during your stay. Ms. P is talented with the towel arrangements. Ms. Elfra even shared her baking skills with me. Delicious! Since they cater to your needs, the breakfast has something to offer for everyone. Thank you guys for such a wonderful time. I look forward to seeing you again in the future!
Given the fact that our flight was canceled and we were held up by a day, Francosía was very accommodating in shifting our reservation. He also arranged for an airport pick up. The accommodations were clean and adequate. The room has a comfortable king bed. The recommendation to eat at the Smoker was the best. It’s an easy walk from the hotel and overlooks the Belize River.
Spacious and very clean room number 4, which is nicely decorated. Staff and owner very helpful and friendly. Excellent included breakfast. Neighbourhood is one of safest in Belize City, restaurants very close by. Seafront 3 minutes walk.
I found myself traveling solo in the city while my husband was hospitalized. Unfortunately because of COVID the hospital had a one hour per day visitor policy. Having traveled from San Pedro to the city I knew it would not be cost effective to go back and forth daily. Upon a friends recommendation I booked a room at Villa Boscardi and so grad I did. The owner Francoise was so thoughtful and caring and runs a quaint, comfortable place. The amazing complimentary breakfasts are only a plus to the personal service I received. I would highly recommend this location and certainly will b Make this my choice when I find myself in the city again.
Not only did Francoise have a taxi cab waiting for us when we arrived but also arranged and provided an incredible couple days in Belize City. James was the first person we met and we ended up using his taxi service for the three days we were in Belize City. From stopping for fresh, roadside cashews and coconut water, he was very acknowledgeable about the area and always on time. The next person we met was Ohra who greeted us at Villa Boscardi with fresh lime juice and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. She also had our room beautifully tidy when we came back after a long day of sight seeing. Then, we had the pleasure of meeting Francoise. We arrived on Friday morning and immediately she was helping us plan our weekend which first included lunch. She drove us to a lovely Lebanese restaurant. From there we walked to Travellers Rum Museum then back to Villa Boscardi with a quick stop at the Belize Sign just a few blocks away. Villa Boscardi is also walking distance to Brodie's and a bank so we were able to get more cash and some snacks. On Saturday Francoise met with us for breakfast as we headed off to Lamani which she arranged. James picked us up and off we went for an incredible day. On Sunday Francoise arranged a day for us on Caye Caulker on Carlos' catamaran. An absolutely incredible day of snorkeling. We arrive back around 6pm on Sunday and Francoise was right there to help us order pizza which she went and picked up for us. We left early Monday morning with Francoise sending us off with egg sandwiches as we caught an early morning flight to San Pedro. As we left we wondering how we could possibly be so lucky to find Francoise and Villa Boscardi. A true gem!!…
The hotel staff made us feel like we were at home, the breakfasts were delicious, and the attention was top-notch! Even though we were only there for three nights, we really appreciated the kindness and service they provided to us during our stay and would definitely come back at this hotel!
