There are a lot of great review here and info on the website. Here's just a few things to keep in mind. 1) do your homework - it's more like camping then resorting 2) come prepared - bring booze, lights, snacks, and ear plugs (it's windy and in rainy season Thunder and Lightening) towel and sun screen 3) Bring CASH...

First off I knew exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a remote beach or island with diving, snorkeling, and kayaking right off the beach. I wanted to utterly relax and go at my own pace and not be bothered to do anything if it didn't feel just right in the moment. And I had to be able to...

A friend and I went to Glover's atoll resort in April 2012 to fish, snorkel, and relax. I read all the reviews, and the most helpful reviews were the ones that told you what to expect to have a great time. So, that's what I'll try to do. First, the employees of the island work very hard (10, 12 hour...

I do not like camping and when we first got to the island I was quite unhappy about the idea of having to rough it, particularly the wood chip toilets, and was consoled by the fact that if I hated it we only had to stay four days and could leave on the Wednesday - we ended up staying four...

Loved our 8 day stay at Glovers...Just do a little research and bring what you need. You're on an island in the middle of nowhere and it's a very lovely feeling. THE DIVE BAR girls made our stay!! So friendly and ready to please with great customer service!!

Firstly, so you know where we're coming from, my husband and I are late 40s, from central Canada, and have not travelled tons. That said, we LOVED Glovers. It was not perfect, but we had read up on it quite a bit, and I think we knew what to expect - upscale camping. We had #7 hut out over the...

My wife and I, both aged sixty, are very well travelled, if I do say so myself: we've been on all seven continents, yes, including Antarctica. And we are backpackers at heart, though increasingly we splurge on things. She's English; I'm a Yank from Arkansas and Tennessee, though I now have British nationality. So much for the preliminaries, which are...

People who run this resort like Marsha, could get away with rudeness, disrespect years ago when there was no Internet, no Cellphones, etc. Nowadays though, that efficient 'Customer Service' pays the price. Stay away from this backward, ill-kept 'resort'. Do a bit of research and see that in this same region of the Caribbean, there are properly run places to...
