I had been wanting to go to Slickrock Glover's Reef for years. I finally told my husband I was going with or without him! He of course came along. We did the 5 day 4 night adventure on the island. We had so much fun kayaking, snorkeling, SUP, and learning to kayak surf. The snorkeling was amazing. So many colorful...

A tropical island almost all to yourself, with everything you could hope for from a desert island experience; white sands, hammocks, fresh coconuts and freshly cooked food. In combination with a whole range of exciting activities such as windsurfing, kayaking and diving all ran by fun and professional guides. It has something for everyone!

"Our trip with you was wonderful, relaxing and with a great “tempo” and options for activities and freedom. The guides and made it possible to do all that we had hoped, including a night snorkel, fishing, kayaking, kayak self-rescue, kayak-surfing, etc. Attention to detail and safety were obviously a priority for for both MJ and Shane. All the guides were...

My good friend Sarah and I just returned from an amazing 10 day stay at Long Caye Resort, run by Slickrock Adventures. I cannot say enough about this trip. This is my 3rd time staying out at Long Caye and each time I am more amazed at the experience it offers. From the wonderful spacious ocean side cabanas, to the...

Surrounding us were coconut trees, sand, clear blue water and the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Nothing pretentious here. Perfect environment for relaxing and enjoying water sports. Everything is provided, just show up each morning for breakfast to get the activity agenda for the day. There were 2 options for our group for the morning and 2 again...

My boyfriend, myself and a bunch of my friends visited Slickrock at Glovers Reef November 2015. This was my second trip to the island and it was even more fun than I can remember. The food is outstanding, the staff is very informative and friendly. All of the activities were so fun as we are very active people from the...

We like Slickrock's Long Caye Resort at Glover's Reef so much that we keep coming back. We looked again for another choice, and nowhere else compares for the kind of water-related sports that we so much enjoy. The best part is the snorkeling - kayaking to a different patch reef every day. It is truly remarkable how much variation there...

We recently spent 7 glorious days on Long Caye. The "camp" is perfect; meticulously clean and well cared for. Though rustic, we had everything we needed and then some. The guides were wonderful; kind, patient and very fun!! Their attention to safety was fantastic. The orientations were great. We learned kayak skills that we actually should have learned many years...

The island is very remote but that is what is so appealing. The cabanas are right next to the ocean. We brought snacks to eat but there was no need as there was plenty of cookies, all the beer or soda you drink. This place is not for everyone if you expecting amenities. Best time to take shower is in...

As far as the planning and organization of this trip goes, Slickrock Adventures was excellent. The brochures that they sent and prices they quoted depicted what I experienced. There were no surprises. I highly recommend that you peruse their brochure material, Facebook, and website in order to fully understand the type of vacation you will be having. I travelled there...

Thank you so much for the great review, and three years later! We are happy you have such vivid memories of what a great time you had. I just wanted to point out to others reading your review that we don't have hot showers, although I am happy that you remember them that way! Our shower water is heated by...
