My family (my husband, 13 year old and 2 year old daughters, my mom, and I) stayed 8 nights in condo A4. The unit suited our needs perfectly and had all of the amenities of home to make us comfortable.

Sunset Beach was the perfect choice for our party of eight. We were visiting Belize in celebration of my father's 70th birthday and we loved the authenticity of Ambergris Caye. Sunset Beach added to the experience with a lovely beach and dock and my favorite...More

There is a mini mart within walking distance of the condo, but the inventory is very limited. It probably takes ~ 15-20 minutes to get to a grocery. It seems to take longer since you can only go so fast in a golf cart (limited cars on the island) and there are many speed bumps on the road along the way. That being said, my family (4 adults, 2 kids) made most of our meals in the condo. It helped that we had 2 golf carts and many laps/hands to hold the bags- it's hard to transport all the groceries in a golf cart (no trunk)! We also went out for dinner and ice cream a few nights. I'd factor in 20-30 minutes to get to the heart of San Pedro where the majority of shopping and restaurants are located. There are many dining options closer to the condo as well.
