I found this B&B listed under Inns and Cabins on Three Rivers Outside when I was looking into Kayaking on the Altamaha River. Its a beautiful house furnished with antiques, if not for the large flat screen in the living room, it was kind of like going back in time. So much of the ambiance and little touches brought back... I had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast inn recently. It was very quiet and secluded, and it truly located across the road from a cotton field! It has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom I stayed in was very cozy and comfortable and had two beds in it. The only complaint I had about... More

This was our second visit to this rural Southern B&B within a year. We brought friends to the inn for 3 nights and to attend the Vidalia Onion Festival. Both couples had a king room on the first floor. Each night Miss Martha served an evening snack and wine. After we returned from dinner, a different dessert was waiting for... More

Lovely house, food and hospitality (wine upon arrival on porch). Great rooms and comfy beds for a quiet night sleep. Off the beaten track worth the drive from Vidalia to experience rural stay. One recommendation - enable overseas visitors to book via email or online!

My husband and I visited The Cotton Patch Inn in January of this year ('08) and it was great! We stayed there to be close to Vidalia, and the drive was quite easy there and back. The house is gorgeous and family run; the normal caretaker was our of town at the time and we were taken care of by... More

The innkeepers are kindness personified, I felt like royalty. The B&B itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and everything a traveler needs is provided (plenty of towels, soaps, refreshments, etc). The rooms are decorated very nicely with some impressive antiques. The breakfast was out of this world. The back deck/porch is very nice for relaxing and eating. The Ailey area has... More
