I have been here before and really think it is a lovely place but repeatly am stunned by the prices. A 8oz bottle of water is $3. Round of sporting clays $60. All bills add 20% tip. The food is good. Wine prices are over...More

My husband and I both agree that Barnsley Resort provided us a quiet and serene rest. The quaint area allowed for a slower pace of life which lent itself to relaxation. The manor (ruins) is historical due to being a site during the Civil War....More

From check in to departure, the staff was amazing. Waitstaff in the restaurant were personal and friendly! Our 8 kids and 8 adults found time to be together and, when needed, time to be alone! Kayaking, swimming, golf, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, house board games...More

We have been frequent guests of Barnsley Resort for many years. I never imagined I would give them a less than stellar review...but the time has come. In a nutshell, it does not match up to other upscale resorts we travel to and the price...More

I believe I remember seeing a sign at the guard shack for a price for admission to the grounds if you are not staying overnight. Maybe $10/daypass? Not completely sure, sorry.

It is small enough to walk the grounds. Cars aren't allowed everywhere.
