After seeing all the bad reviews, I was happy to discover a very nice hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The price was good and the Room was very nice. I would come back. The hotel is in a very good location for restaurants but is away from the clutter of the city.
Just needed a place for one night. Found it online and made reservation. Parking and reception area are good. The halls and staircase got a recent terrible paint job over all the old beat up molding and walls. Rooms size was ok, but.... The love seat had stains and a big tear in it. No shower curtain. We asked for one but they never brought it. The office chair by the desk was broken. Dirty bathroom floor. No shampoos or soap. Sheets may or may not have been washed from previous guest TV did not work at all and the person at the front desk did not care. I felt uncomortable with some of the people loitering outside the building.
The price far exceeds the quality of the place. Everything in the room was DISGUSTING. The bathroom, including toilet and shower was far dirty and yucky. This place is run by a family and they are all the time walking around, going through the corridors in front of the rooms and they are not sociable and pleasant at all, making you feel uncomfortable. I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody.
DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is terrible, disgusting and filthy. We found mold from the bathroom (toilet bowl and inside the shower) to the dresser drawers, and even inside the filter for the coffee maker. The management is horrible! They don't care about their guests or their concerns, nor do they make it right. The hotel manager is a LIAR, claiming that customer satisfaction is their number one priority. IT'S NOT! STAY AWAY, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!! Very sketchy management and horrible, disgusting rooms.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Spare yourself from unnecessary stress and headache. Worst motel I've ever been to. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn but this year it was all booked so we ended up trying out Roadway Inn instead. We paid $72 for one night including taxes for this stay. The towels all looked dirty, the linens I dont know if its clean but there was some hair on it before we even slept on it. I just let it go because we were so exhausted from a long trip not to mention having little kids. In fairness the location was quiet. The top sheet on the bed was not good, it looked old and wrinkly even before we used it. it is also itchy but thankfully the fitted sheet was better. Their pillows were SO TINY! But the worst part was that we all got bitten by some bug including our baby. I was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. Even my husband who could sleep in uncomfortable places wasn't able to sleep. They have a "continental breakfast" which included an english muffin and cereal, milk from a big jug that everyone shares, orange juice (not from real oranges per hubby) that came out from a big jug to share with everyone too and coffee. I find it really weird since every single hotel or even motel I've been to would use single serve milk cartons. So I told the front desk about the bugs. The indian looking male was very defensive saying that the mattresses were all new. ( But even if its new bedbugs can still come in since different people go there and if theyre still using old linens and old towels infested with bed bugs before it will still stay there ). I didnt want to argue because I hate arguing with people but I would definitely not pay a single cent to stay in such a deplorable condition. We still paid the $72 for that night. But we will definitely not be going back.…
Staff was very friendly everything was very clean inside and out would definitely come again also looks like they've done lots of remodeling new furniture in room pet friendly very helpful with things to do in the area
I got in late--1:45 a.m.--and no one was around. It wasn't even clear that the little receiving area was the office/the place to check in was the right place. I waited a good five minutes before anyone showed up. The carpet in the room was gross & the breakfast practically non-existant. It was out-dated & smelly.
If you stay in this hotel, I strongly recommend not to use bedspread. Otherwise mites in the bedspread might bite you! When we stayed in this hotel at warm winter night, we slept on the bedspread. Next morning, all our family found there were many eruptions with terrible itching probably due to biting by mites. So I asked the hotel owner to change our room, but he refused because there were no complaints about this room from the guest who stayed before. There was no ventilating fun in our room, so it wouid be appropriate environment for mites to grow up due to warm and humidity. I think this hotel owner should take care of ventilation of their room.
Not possible to call with calling card.only local calls ,expensive calls whit my cellphone every day too the Netherlands bad WiFi ,helpful staff breakfast o.k. every day clean towels no bugs found LCD television A place to stay
