Our stay at Bryant House was extraordinary! Ken was alone this weekend due to Bridgett visiting with family. We hate that we missed meeting her, however, Ken did a fabulous job! We enjoyed talking with him and learning about their amazing home. The antiques in Bryant House are in pristine condition and well taken care of. It was nice sitting... More

The owners, Brigitte and Ken, are friendly, caring, and attentive hosts. When we come to Apalachicola with our three children, ages 4, 13, and 14, we rent Sadie's Cottage. When it is just the two of us, we stay in the big house. The cottage has a full kitchen, so you could prepare your own meals if you are so... More

This bed and breakfast is located in a building built in 1898. Bridgette and her husband have four different rooms with antiques and period furniture. Each morning there is a German style breakfast which consists of cheese, meats, jellies, boiled eggs with fresh bread and croissants. Juice and coffee round out the meal. This bead and breakfast is within walking... More

Our travel unexpectedly took us to Apalachicola where we were fortunate to get a room at this lovely bed and breakfast. Bridget and Ken were welcoming, kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom, while small ,was very effecient and clean. Breakfast was delicious and complete. I look forward to returning to the area when we have more time to explore.... More

We also stayed at the Fisherman's Cottage for 3 nights, but it was perfect for us. We had to get out of our house while the floor was being replaced and didn't want to be stuck in a single room. The cottage was roomy and well situated, a big room with 4 beds, chairs, and a table; a big kitchen... More

We stayed at the Fisherman's Cottage for 3 nights recently. It is a small studio with a kitchen and bathroom right on the Apalachicola Bay. Be prepared to go to the grocery store when you first arrive, as there are pots and pans etc. in the apartment. You might do well to buy bottled water as the tapwater is very... More

We ended up here (we think the only room open for the night in the town) because the Gibson Inn lost our reservation. The house is very interesting to say the least. Tons of antiques and old photos!! The hosts were wonderful. Loved Einstein their bird who said "bye bye" to us when we left. Our queen room and bath... More

On a recent business trip in the Florida Panhandle I stayed at the Bryant House. It was an excellent choice; comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere and the Hostess, Bridgette, was excellent.

My wife and I had discovered Appalachicola several years ago, but we really fell in love with it when we ended up staying at the Bryant House. Brigitte makes you feel at home and the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. Convenient location to all the downtown restaurants, bars and afternoon shopping.

“If you have more than two people, then you may want to try a room other than the "Red Room." While it was perfect for my wife and I, a larger family will feel a little cramped in there.”

“I stayed in the Blue room. Lots of light and comfortable furniture. But don't expect a lot of negative space. After all, it is a 100 year old bedroom!”

“We stayed in the Gold Room of the main house. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, the shower is great, and there's plenty of room to settle in. Four large windows bring in plenty of light, and if you're not in the mood to leave the room, there's a large flatscreen with plenty of channels.”
