This was a spur of the moment decision to spend one night as we were driving from Seaside to Jacksonville and we followed Highway 98 to pass through many beaches we had never seen. We went out to Cape San Blas and St. George Island. Our arrival at the inn was charming and friendly. We had chosen the Heron Suite...

We stayed in the Azalea Room on the first floor. The staff were concerned that we might find the room a bit noisy as it was right by the check-in area - but it proved not to be a problem for us. The room was elegantly furnished in keeping with the house and the bed was one of the most...

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights in August. Our second floor room was very comfortable, and we loved sitting on the veranda. The Inn has a lovely breakfast, and we took full advantage of the yellow bikes to explore the area. Be sure to walk across the street to visit the cemetary where the Coombs are buried. Apalachicola...

Perfect location for us since we love B&Bs! It was a more high end place rather than quaint like most B&Bs. It is full of history. We stayed in the Hemingway Suite and we loved it! We had a jacuzzi and a sitting room. Breakfast the next morning was a mixture of a very nice continental style bar and homemade...

Well, this place was amazing- and great for people traveling with dogs. They were so friendly and accommodating and everything was clean yet fit the atmosphere of the house and the town perfectly. The Inn is within walking distance of delicious restaurants, cafes, and a wonderful coffee house with divine baked goods and gelato. Also, the historic walking tour of...

We were there for three days and it far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very courteous. The only negative thing was the rooms size. There were very few rooms available when we booked our trip, so we had a queen size bed. Having slept in a king bed for 30+ years, it was a little uncomfortable...

We had a great time, in spite of all the rain! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were very nice. We did find out that we could have obtained a better rate and would have had a more informed chioce of rooms by calling the Coombs House directly instead of using an online reservation service.

Our three day visit to the Coombs House Inn far surpassed our expectations. Our accommodations were extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Each day we were served a different and delicious gourmet breakfast. The owners and staff were gracious and so helpful---explaining the history of the inn and the surrounding sites. They also recommended many good restaurants. We definitely plan...

Just enough room on either side of bed to squeeze by.Very small flatscreen tv,maybe17-19 inches. The furniture looked to be what they had left over from all...
