It started off great… (read to the end) I had a nice check in experience. Franklin was very accommodating and Aaron was so helpful assisting me. Great gentlemen who actually care and listen, Hilton. 5 star service! They had an event going on at the hotel that was a lot of fun, I got to check it out. They had a hotel bar (restaurant was closed) While ordering food at the hotel bar I met a couple of interesting guys from the event because there was a long wait for food. The evening was fun. I had nice conversations. I liked my room at first. It was very cozy and spacious enough. It even has a nice size fridge to keep everything cool. The towels were nicely bright white and fluffy. Everything was clean and smelled good. Nothing old or damaged. It’s a nice hotel not far off the interstate. It’s close to a lot of shops and restaurants but you don’t hear any noise. It’s really close to the Orlando area. For anyone who doesn’t want to stay directly in the heat of everything, this would be a perfect hotel to stay at! Now….. It gets chilly at night and there is no heat at all. I know most people don’t turn on the heat but I’m used to Georgia Florida weather and I don’t like to be cold and it gets chilly. The water pressure is amazing but the water is lukewarm. Another thing about heat. I got to have hot water when I shower. So even though the water pressure was great I had to shower quickly and it was very uncomfortable. The water nozzles hard to turn on. I had to call for service. The gentleman was really nice. It took a couple moments of trying to get the lights to come on. They really need someone to show you how things work because it’s not like newer hotels. I cannot believe that housekeeping started way before their 9 AM shift. I had requested a late check out because I knew that Mother’s Day was gonna be rough for me because I had lost my mother and I had lost my brother two years ago from Covid and it was very emotional. I just wanted to be alone. I did not see or hear anyone on my floor at all from the day before, that night or that morning. I did experience housekeeping talking so loud and laughing talking to someone that I thought it was a guest next-door but it wasn’t. Once I heard the housekeeping walkie-talkies, that cannot be misunderstood, I knew it was just staff working. They were aware of me getting a late check out and the front desk even contacted them a few times and yet they still made horrible noises for 3 straight hours. They did not stop making noise until it was time for me to get up to get ready to leave. I walked outside a couple times and asked them to be quiet they were very rude and snobby.. they were very inconsiderate. Slamming doors vacuuming with a squealing vacuum. Talking over their little walkie-talkies. I have it on video. I contacted the front desk numerous times and all I got is that they told them and that it should be quiet. It wasn’t. They were very disrespectful they ruined my entire day and my experience there. I didn’t want to seem mean so instead of asking for a refund or anything like that, I just asked for half my points. I figured that was fair. I even offered that they could let me come back and stay another night sometime. I didn’t get any emails no notifications no one trying to apologize or saying no we can’t or anything. I had to reach out to the Hilton Honors desk to find out that they denied the request. They didn’t even bother to communicate with me. I think that’s very rude. So even though the front desk staff was very pleasant and the room was adequate it’s not worth my hard earned money or time and frustration to deal with this hotel. It’s not worth it… I could’ve paid less for a room that was newer without these issues. This property is not worth it. They will not get my business again, since they clearly do not care about me. I’ll spend my money, points, and shares - somewhere else.…
From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcome! The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot! We had breakfast included in the room rate and we had delicious meals each morning. The menu included eggs, french toast and pancakes among other things. The waitress, Navenka, made us feel like part of her family. The location might not be suitabke if you are there for the theme parks but there is everything that you need right next to the property. It is literally one turn off the road out of the airport. If I’m ever in The north orlando area again I will defnintely stay there again.
Had our annual rally with over 400 friends, great breakfast everyday by hotel. Very accommodating staff, took care of all requests promptly. Need a ADA room which was close to elevator, all worked good, very happy.
Stayed only one night but felt very welcome. GM Frank was awesome providing insight on the area and his front desk staff and his bar staff provided excellent service as well. Only negative is they have not reopened the executive lounge on the 7th floor other than that, the hotel is worth it.
Lindsey Blair | Reservations Coordinator Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs, is a great professional! Always attentive and provides the best customer care one can expect! thank you Lindsey! Will recommend this hotel to all my peers and colleagues
The room had trash on the floor. and there was makeup on one of the pillows. It took almost 24 hours for someone to come and clean the room after asking four times! I would be careful if looking for a clean place to stay! When room cleaning was requested, it took an entire day for them to come.
The location is away from traffic, but close to everything: restaurants, fast food and gas stations. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. And it’s reasonably priced too! We were in town for a ECNL soccer showcase and it’s right off the highway, which is super convenient.
I liked this hotel because it was far removed from the theme parks, and as a result was much quieter and less chaotic. Great facilities for our work groups to meet in the lobby and have a drink while we did our homework (we were there for The American Legion College). The pantry prices were far more reasonable than other hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast buffet and the dinner prices were definitely more affordable than the last hotel I stayed in across from Sea World.
The people at the front desk and breakfast staff were great! The French toast and waffles from the breakfast buffet were hard as a rock. We stayed on the 7th floor and went two days without hot water.
Super awesome hotel with friendly staff. Be patient since they’re understaffed and juggling multiple tasks with little patience from very few guests. Rooms were impeccable and very comfortable with pillows that’ll make you sleep as soon as you hit the bed.
