First off, I want to say that the staff at the hotel are awesome and try hard. That being said, the place is terrible - it has an absolutely gorgeous pool which was the only reason we picked this hotel, but it was closed (supposedly a pump broke down). It's basically a welfare hotel now, with drug deals going on in the parking lot and extremely intoxicated people roaming the terraces at all hours of the night. We looked for another hotel right after we arrived - stayed one night and was happy to leave. Didn't feel safe at all. As I said, the staff, tho, are fantastic - they didn't charge us for the one night we stayed and refunded all our money.
I usually only stay at Hilton and other luxury chains but this place has surprisingly surpassed my expectations and the staff have a real spirit of hospitality and definitely went out of their way to make sure I had a awesome visit at their hotel Definitely wasn’t expecting this from a extended stay but it was more like a high end spot with a great deal 👍 oh and they’re cool with pets too 🐕
Debbie Fitzgerald has been employed with the Extended Stay Hotel for over 9 years. She is currently the Assistant General Manager at the Altamonte Springs location, where she assisted me with securing and extending my reservation. I had a question about a transaction that was made on my bank statement, and she was more than willing to assist me in resolving the matter. Ms. Fitzgerald is very accommodating, has a bright personality, and is very knowledgeable at handling escalating situations. Overall, she is a wonderful asset to your team at the Extended Stay Hotel of Altamonte Springs, I think you should hang on to her. Merry Christmas.
After driving all day and a long flight, my wife and I were excited to get some rest and just wanted a cheap decent room. As soon as you pull up to this property, it’s dark and intimidating. The lobby was plain and looked under renovation. The gentleman at the front desk was nice but let’s get into the room: The entire walk to the room was filthy, dim lighting, and outdated. The room was dirty and everything is outdated. The bathtub was disgusting and had a roach in the wall as soon as we walked in. The Tv must have been from 2007 I’m guessing maybe older. The entire vibe of that property is wrong. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a murder at that hotel at some point in the past. This hotel is great if you have a prostitute or are a drug dealer. If you have a family or are with your spouse, avoid this hotel. It should be demolished. 1/10 and that’s being generous. We immediately walked out and got a refund and went to the Hampton inn down the street. It was night and day. If you need to stay in this area go to the Hampton.…
