I had a great stay. The front desk clerk(didnt catch her name) was extremely friendly. The rest of the staff was friendly. I am low maintenance so I did not need much. The room and building were very clean. Its near the interstate. Next to a couple of restaurants and a gas station. Busy hotel. Parking god almost full after 9pm-10pm. Very good stay for a 3 star hotel.
Plus stairway doors closed softly several luggage carts were available staff was quite congenial Minus water pressure was low room 416 was musty need to keep coffee available to around 1 pm, not 9 am keep breakfast going to 10 am on weekend days instead of ending at 9 am like weekdays.
My group needed a last minute conference room that would fit 30 attendees and my stress level was at 100 as I called around the city looking for hotels that would help us. Julia was working the front desk and had a room set up for us in less than 30 minutes! I will definitely be referring customers here! Thank you so much Julia and the team!!
Stayed here in December 2021. Upon check-in, the man behind the desk practically threw the keys at me. He didn't want my drivers license (usually required) and didn't provide any information like breakfast start/end time, where the fitness room was, etc. It felt like he was waiting for me to arrive so he could go home. The lack of service continued for our two-night stay. I had a few questions for the front desk person on the last morning of our stay and she clearly was unhappy that she had to remove her earbuds to listen and to answer me. This happened several times. No maid service at all "due to Covid." The linens for the pullout bed weren't in the room so I had to go fetch them at 9:00 pm because the person at the front desk said "I'm here alone." Had to also fetch new towels and take out my own trash. They're obviously using the pandemic to skimp on service. Fine, but if you're not providing maid service, then linens, towels, and trash bags should be very easy to get. The room was newly renovated and very clean. There simply wasn't enough space for a king bed and a sofa bed so it was hard to manuever when the sofa bed was out. It's nice that the sink is outside the room with the toilet and shower but the countertop was small with far less space for toiletries, etc. than most hotels. It was hard to have privacy if someone was in shower or using the toilet because that was the only place you where someone in the living area couldn't see you. This is a problem when traveling with a tween. Breakfast was lame. The only hot item was make-your-own waffles. They ran out of milk, cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit well before the end of breakfast time. They begrudgingly brought out one yogurt when I asked. The hotel was mostly empty but, for some reason, they put us in a room right next to another occupied room, so we had to listen to other people's noise. I won't stay here again. It's a nice facility and the rooms are fresh (if small) but the service was simply terrible. There are other hotels within a one-mile radius that are better.…
Christina, the general manager, was AMAZING! We were there for a youth football tournament and she was completely unfazed by our boys’ excitement, noise, and the amount of people in our party! She is the BEST! Christopher at the front desk was also great. He was super helpful and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
