We stayed here on our way to Disney, and I wished we had another day. At check in there were two extremely nice ladies, and another very nice gentleman who showed me to my site. My daughter was able to get in a few minutes of swimming in the clean pool that evening, and again the next morning. We also went to the office and got cheerios to feed the animals at the campground. That was a treat, because even though we live in a rural area with animals of our own, we don't have an Emu. Everything was very clean, everyone very nice, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
It’s right off the I-75, so it was perfect for us to spend one night on our way to our next destination. The office staff were quick to help me when I walked in the door and genuinely nice. They offer you a cold bottle of water if you’d like. Then they guide you to your spot. We didn’t even need to disconnect our tow car, which was super convenient since we were leaving first thing in the morning. And last, but definitely not least: the WiFi is spotty. That’s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.
Initially we thought the site set-up was a bit strange. Two RVs per drive through site were set head to toe over an area of several rows. This might have been only in the Class A area where they put us. Lot's of noise from campers as well as the nearby road but it did quiet down. All in all it was a comfortable stay, but very overpriced. (The staff claims that rates are higher for football weekends and we were lucky to get a site because they usually require a two night stay.) We were also faced with a water line problem and their maintenance staff fixed it quickly.
Our campsite was a different setup, short term stays were lined up in a row. It worked out fine. First experience with that. Everything worked great! The Bathhouse and restrooms were very clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. The pool was open. Within miles to see the natural springs.
Moving to Florida so months prior we set up arrangements for renting a lot long term. Was escorted to and reserved a great lot but on arrival "new management " states not available and wants to put us in a densely packed area, no grass, no breeze, even though we see the site we paid for has a RV in the middle of setting up. Mgt. seems a bit brusque and militant for a campground. Trash dumpster all overflowing. Plan to stay for months but these first impressions are not winning them any 5 star reviews.
