I stayed here and had a really unpleasant experience. I am a travel nurse and just needed one night here. My major complaints are as follows: -NO hand soap or lotion in the bathroom. Seriously? -Shampoo is 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, everyone knows these are cheap and maybe are fine for guys but most women they are not. -I am allergic to feathers. I called asking for a non-feather pillow. I was told to go to front desk to get it myself, and got that pillow, and slept on it. I woke in the middle of the night having an asthma attack because the clerk gave me ANOTHER feather pillow! At that point I was seriously not well and wasn’t going to walk back down to the lobby to try again. I tried to sleep without a pillow but couldn’t get comfortable. -Toilet barely flushed. Had to hold the handle down a long time. -No HOT water. Water got warm-ish, but never hot. Tried to shower at night, didn’t get hot enough, so went to bed. Tried again in the morning and still wasn’t hot enough. -Guests in lobby without masks on. Nuff said. -Doors between wings of hotel slam loudly all night long. Kept waking me up from what little sleep I did get. Total waste of $80.

Checked into this establishment for a 6 night stay. Was informed due to COVID, there would be absolutely no house keeping services. Despite asking if the option would be available when I was not in the room. Was provided additional sheets and towels to clean my own room. When going to the assigned room, I was placed in a room that was 1.) Not cleaned or 2.) Being used by one of the hotel staff for personal use, as it smelled like somebody took a fresh dump in the middle of the floor. Was able to change my room fortunately, however was highly irate when I woke up to an unauthorized $745 charge on my card. When asking the manager about the charge I was informed the "computer system charged the account.... on it's own....." Would not recommend... There is not a level of oversight over the individuals who are being allowed behind the counters. When asking about an individual who was present behind the counter with another clerk during the shift, the manager did not have knowledge of the individual. Would not recommend this hotel, for anyone looking for a place to stay, as your card will be fraudulently charged. Will be reporting for Fraud and will be reporting to the BBB!

Let me preface by saying we know Covid has heavily impacted the industry. We booked two nights stay. 1st room, light in bathroom was out, shower door leaked so badly we nearly flooded the floor (no light, couldn't tell) the toliet flush was broken we had to fix (no maintentce allowed in). Mgt was great, compt'd that night's stay and moved us. We got back that evening switched rooms only to find the toilet tank was nearly falling off, shower door still leaked and now mold all over the bathroom floor. This is not Marriott Standard! We gave up trying to fix, when we told them in the morning, she stated how hard this has been on them. I get it, but don't rent out rooms that are in this kind of condition! Both night's should have been no charge. We will not return

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Marriott International came out with its Global Cleanliness Council to "promote even higher standards of cleanliness." Evidently the ALoft Denver Airport didn't get the message as the bathroom had black mold and did not look like it had been cleaned thoroughly. Spraying tile with a bleach solution just won't do it. You have to use elbow grease. Microbes create sort of condos called biofilms that protect them from disinfectants. Only if you scrub can you break up the biofilm and actually disperse the micro-organisms. Seeing the black mold in the bathroom did not instill confidence that the room had been thoroughly cleaned. The hotel had you drop your key card in a tub of supposed disinfectant as you checked out. I would hope they would have paid as much attention to the bathrooms.

The first sentence for the hotel on the app I booked on said free airport shuttle. Book, get there and told no shuttle. Update your description!!! Ice bucket was full of brown water. TP holder broken. Bathroom smelled off. Surprised this is run by W, no where near their standards.
