It was really hot in Aspen when we stayed and there was no air conditioning. We were so uncomfortable that we decided to leave two days early. In addition, there was only one restaurant onsite and it was very expensive. There was no other place to purchase snacks, or food, other than from a vending machine. On our first night there, we were tired and hungry and there was no where we could eat (not even the bar) because they were short staffed and we did not have a reservation. Instead, they delivered lukewarm food to our room.......quite an expensive meal to serve in carry out boxes! The staff did their best to be helpful, but they were short staffed due to Covid, hence they were only available to clean the rooms every other day. The property was nice and there was a lot of wide open space which is great if you are bringing your dog. In addition the rooms were simple and spacious, which was ideal if you were traveling with a family. In this way, you did get a good value for your money. I will never stay again, as the heat and staff shortage close to ruined our trip. However, if it were spring, or fall, and they were better staffed, this might be a reasonable option in Aspen, especially if you are bringing your dog and prefer staying slightly outside of town.

Hotel's Favourite
My friends and I stayed for 9 nights over Christmas and New Years and we had such a great time! Aspen Meadows is a fantastic hotel with really spacious suites. The space made a big difference, especially with all the ski gear we had. Located just a few minutes from the airport and to the town, really close by to Highlands and Buttermilk slopes. Housekeeping was spot on each day and the service from the front desk was also excellent throughout the stay. I had some packages shipped to the hotel, and the hotel would have them sent directly to my room without me having to request for it! When I arrived, I was picked up by Angel from the airport and he was so happy and positive to be working at the Meadows resort. NYE dinner at the hotel restaurant was also excellent and the wines were reasonably priced too. Overall I felt the staff seemed to work very well together to make the guest experience as seamless as possible. A shout out to supervisor Lance Lary who was always on the ball making sure everything was doing great. From day 1 of my stay he would already be addressing me by my name with a huge smile whenever I passed the front desk. A big thanks to Lance and the front desk team for the wonderful service! At check out I was really wondering to myself how we had stayed for 9 nights but yet I did not want to leave! This is a hotel I intend to be back again in the future!

We enjoyed our 3 nights in the resort. The rooms are very spacious and done in provocative style but ultimately highly practical. The amount of light coming through doors/windows was astounding, this is the place if you appreciate ton of light. We didn’t mind lack of AC even though temperatures reached 85 daytime. You can open multiple vents, it was never hot inside. Small hiccup - we were misinformed by a person at front desk about $25 daily food credit.

in addition to no AC, we were not told we needed to make reservations at the pool - which of course was booked for our stay. Why did we pay a resort fee of $30?? The capstone was the rude front desk woman at check-out who basically told us "well for $300 s night, what do we expect?" (room was $400 a night all in and not worth close to that.

can't wait to return. we stayed with our dog and we all had a great trip. the location was perfect as were all the amenities. We hope to get the same 1 bedroom jr. suite next year which had wonderful views of the mountains. There were many hikes that were walking distance from the hotel as well as fly fishing for my husband
