Here for a few days for the jazz festival. As always very pleased w the Kimpton experience. Awesome location, and a walk to everything, with excellent linens and the Aspen mountain/village view outside my balcony. Corey, the manager personally and professionally smoothed out a booking issue, that was inadvertently made. Treated like a guest w complimentary wine and snacks at... More

This was our second time at the Sky, the first one being two years ago, which had been a good stay overall. This time we were in a room in the 100 wing, which was dark, faced a parking lot, had little light, etc. In other words, despite being reasonably well appointed as noted in other reviews, it still felt... We had a pleasant stay at the Kimpton Sky Hotel. As other reviews have noted, the rooms are small but well-appointed. There are little perks like a daily free wine hour in the lobby and morning coffee. The location downtown is excellent and the staff are friendly. However this review may be largely moot since outdoor signs on the hotel... More

Well, we were a bit hesitant about this hotel when we first read the reviews about small rooms and noise levels here on trip advisor. We booked this hotel on a bargain hotel bidding website that does not allow you to see the name of the hotel until after the bid is accepted. We ended up booking it at a... More

The location is great, and the room, a suite, was lovely. Everything was clean, stylish, comfortable, and problem-free. It did, however, face onto the street and was noisy at times with passing pedestrians, cars, and, unfortunately, beeping trucks early in the morning. Ask for a room on the quiet side of the hotel. And beware of Sunday afternoons at the... More

We stayed at the Sky for 3 nights in June. The room was very nice (compact, as is typical of many Kimptons, but had great decor and amenities). The service by all staff was exceptional, especially the front desk and bell staff. The location is great, and we got a great rate, as it was before the Food and Wine... More

Aspen is iconic in part because it is a paradise as a four season destination for outdoor activities. But more than that, this place has it all - outdoor beauty, luxury hotels and amenities, great restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes as well, if you can figure out how to advantage yourself in this beautiful place. The... More

Like all Kimpton hotels, this one has distinct personality. The front desk staff was top notch. The rooms were beautifully appointed (we had a lovely small terrace as well) although they are definitely on the compact side - especially the bathroom. All that aside, the toiletries were great, linens fine, bed incredibly comfortable, internet fast, lighting good and tv had... More

Stayed here during the Food & Wine Classic. Location is great, 2 blocks from the Gondola with views of the Mountain. We had a suite, which was comfortable but small by suite standards. Rooms have apparently been renovated but the bathrooms are still dated with tiles, but the shower worked well. The decor is updated and trendy. The lobby is... More

The location is outstanding and everything is within walking distance. The service it top notch, they even have a bottle of Oxygen in the room if you need it for the elevation, of course you do have to pay for it. The bar is also a neat location and I met many locals there.
