Prices were $75 per night, people hollering and noisy all night as well as unsanitary. Black mold everywhere in the bathroom see pics. Not sure how the health department let's it stay open. Definitely not a positive thing for the train visitors. Seems like the Marijuana dispensary on site is the business focus.

We were in Antonito for two nights...one before and one after our day-long excursion on the Cumbres and Toltec narrow gauge railroad. The motel isn't anything special, but it's clean and the rooms are spacious. One downside was a very poor selection of TV channels. We didn't expect a full complement of service, but they didn't even carry PBS. We...

I can't imagine anyone visiting Antonito unless for the Cumbres-Toltec Railroad and this motel is right next to it. Two floors in an L-shape with reception and dining room on ground floor. Its not going to win any awards but breakfast is included and its not bad - not a cooked one.

The hotel is located next to the Cumbres Toltec railway station, so is very convenient for catching the morning train. This is a very basic hotel, an old building which could use some renovation. Our room was spacious, and clean. The manager responded very quickly to a problem with the heater and was obviously eager to please. I felt the...

We stayed here one night when we came to Antonita to ride Cumbres & Toltec Train. This is a bare bones place to stay, basically only a bed & bathroom. The TV was old and had lines running through picture on screen. No other amenities available. Breakfast was coffee, cereal, & some kind of muffins, that were fair. Main positive...

The pros: Really nice owner/manager, and good location for taking the train. Lovely valley view especially during the sunset. The con: This place needs some love and upgrading. I didn't think it was very clean, and there was a lot of dust, etc. under the beds. Water in sink first came out reddish-brown. Both of us have CPAPs and there...

Expect a clean comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, homemade muffins and breads with milk and OJ for breakfast, very close proximity to the Cumbres and Toltec railroad, hot shower with good water pressure. Also expect gaps under the door, old furnishings and fixtures, floor creakings from upstairs, and poor Wifi (no Verizon coverage in the area). Bare necessities, inexpensive, great convenience...

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet, price was right. We did not get the 'breakfast' option, having read other reviews, and there was no phone in the room. No pictures on the wall, only one dark stain on the carpet. The TV did not work very well at all. As initially stated, basic accommodation.

What a sweet place to stay! The people here are fantastic. Our room was the cleanest I have been to in quite a while. The paint looked fresh. The carpeting looked new. The bathroom fixtures were sparkling. The bathroom linoleum looked new. The bed... oh the bed.... wow.... what a comfortable sleep! We stayed 2 nights, and it was wonderful....

This motel is great...a little dated but clean and comfy..the prices are great and the managers are friendly... This motel plus the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR are a great duo.... Will stay here again if back this way...
