My van broke down on the way to a National Park to camp but ended-up having to stay at the KOA in Alamosa, CO. Let me just say that EVERYONE we met was so nice and helpful. They put us in a great camp site for our tents and had fire wood, free coffee and hot showers. We had a...

This is a nice KOA in a quiet area not far off a highway which is not very busy. It is clean and well maintained and the staff is pleasant. It is about 4 0r 5 miles east Of Alamosa and 25 miles or so from the Great Dunes National Park. The pool was not open while we were here,...

Stayed here Aug. 18 - 21. Clean, staff is great. Did not use showers so I can't comment on that. Staff is helpful and friendly. Will stay here again. Space was wide and easy to get into. Easy in and out from highway. Pull through RV site.

The cabins are really cute. they have comfortable plastic covered mattresses and include electricity, a fan and a heater inside. there is a big front porch so you can be outside while it is raining. the bathroom at the back of the park is...

The area is well maintained but on edge of desert so not a lot of options likely good site fo RVs. Free wifi. I left...

We were passing through and this park was what was available. Was all gravel and what grass they had was filled with rabbit poop. Not the park's fault and they told us about it. If you have dogs just watch out! They cook pizzas if you are hungry. We did not try it

No problems, stayed over night. Wifi worked well, kids had a good time. Went to the Sand Dunes about 30 minutes away. Zapata Falls was really cool. Make sure to wear shoes that you can wear in the stream. Water is cold and rocks hurt your feet with no shoes

My kids love to stay at KOA campgrounds because there are so many things for them to do. They were not disappointed here. They have bikes to rent and a pool, both of which my kids enjoyed. We were escorted to our campsite by one of the camp hosts, he even showed us the easiest way to pull in. There...
