My wife and I spontaneously decided to book a 24 hour trip away from our two kids (whom we love BTW) and escape to the Avila Village Inn. The Inn was recommended from a close friend and we were absolutely thrilled with our stay. We requested an early check-in which was gratefully granted. Our room was stunning, we stayed in...

My husband and I have been going to Avila Village Inn for years. This place is set in an ideal location, especially if you are an active outdoor person. Guests have full access to the fitness club next door and a biking/walking path behind the inn. The decor is a cozy craftsman style and lobby area feels like a living...

Dear Amy B, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences at the Avila Village Inn. I was thrilled to read that you are not only able to enjoy the beautiful hotel, but our expansive outdoor space. We truly feel that it is one of the Inn's greatest attributes. I am sorry to hear that you...

My room (#210) was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfy, the bathroom amenities were lovely, and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful, right down to bringing up a vacuum immediately when wine glasses were broken. I will definitely stay there again. Oh, and good pastries in the morning, too!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The hotel is very clean, beautifully designed and the staff members are very nice and helpfull. We were traveling up to northern California and we stayed on the way up and also on the way back because we liked it so much.

Hotel is overpriced given the age of the hotel. The room wasn't as romantic as portrayed online, however, it wasn't bad and we would stay their again if the prices are lower and we we're in the area again.

The room was amazing and very relaxing. The public areas were very welcoming, as was the staff. Perfect for our 1 night staycation! Breakfast was perfect and lots of options to tie you over until lunch time. Cleanliness of the room and hotel, especially the hot tub were superb!

Especially the rooms, the wonderful staff and ambience. It's close to Avila, offers free bicycle use and is a couple feet from one of the best deli's around. We've stayed here many times for staycations and always emerge refreshed and thoroughly satisfied with our stays.

This is a strange hotel built in the woods above the beach resort as part of a development of holiday residences and health club. It has the feel of a place where the main business is training courses, corporate conferences for junior executives and wedding functions. OK, we were there in low season and in miserable rainy weather, but it...

Dear ldhf, Thank you for taking the time to share you experience at the Inn. I was saddened to read that you found the hotel to be bleak. We chose our location based on our proximity to Avila Beach, San Luis Obsipo, and Pismo beach. When deciding to build a hotel, we found that there was a lack of secluded...

This was our first trip to Avila Beach and my husband & I were so happy we chose the Avila Village Inn as our hotel. From the moment we checked in we felt very welcomed by the staff. The lobby looks like a lodge and is very homey feeling. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. We loved having a private...

Hi BrandallC, I am so sorry you found the Inn to be over priced. I was surprised to read that comment as we are one of the more reasonably priced hotels on the Central Coast. I was also disappointed to hear that you we're able to hear your neighbors. Guests often compliment the Inn for being so quiet and well...
