We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a partial view of the beautitul harbor. The room was very clean. For what we paid, it was what we expected and worth it. The 6th floor patio was absolutely beautiful. We were able to store our luggage which was a plus! Staff was friendly and helpful. The Victorian style was attractive and...

We have been staying at this hotel for years, great price and great packages. With the cheap price you get to hear the front desk staff complain about each other and management, they never smile. The rooms are good for the price but new comforters would be nice. The fact that we stay there time and again tells you overall...

My friend booked this hotel for a one night stay. Charming, old world style, very cosy rooms, comfy beds, clean and well appointed. View from the roof terrace awesome, and if you have time, you can enjoy the sunshine and blue skies, relaxing on sunbeds up there. Close to all the good places to eat, and handy for the pier,...

THE DOWNS To start off, the workers who worked at the front desk were VERY, VERY cold and rude! Thy wouldn't even look at you or say one word to their guests! The ONLY friendly and helpful worker at this hotel was a women named Vicky. Next, the rooms were kind of small. There really is no other leg room...

As the cab driver dropped us off in front of the St. Lauren Hotel, I was amazed at the pink Victorian structure with the pink buggy in front. As we entered the hotel, the lobby was very well appointed with Victorian furniture yet was very cozy.we were on the fifth floor and in room 507.I was amazed at what I discovered...

The St. Lauren is a nice, basic hotel. Although our room was really small (think European-style hotel), it was nicely decorated, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It doesn't have many amenities, but by Avalon standards, we felt it was good value for the price. It's up a small hill from the center of town, so it's quiet while still being close...

stayed here for a weekend and it was amazing. the hotel is very clean, and the location is close to everything but still out of the way enough that it's not loud at all at night. I have celiac so I have to pack my own gluten free meals and they were very accommodating with fridge space. I've stayed in...

It's a very quaint victorian hotel. Two blocks from all the action. One block is a steep walk up. Rooms are small and even though Expedia checked for me and the hotel said we would get two queens we got a king and a futon or fold out couch. Rooms and hotel are clean. No front desk after 10 PM....
